In the 70s, he released two albums with the power pop heavy metal band Piper, and then made his solo debut. In 1983, Billy Squier's big hit "Emotions in Motion" made him famous, and this 1 hour and 30 minute recording of his March 26th Worcester concert from his US tour that year was recorded on a stereo soundboard from the FM on-air master. First of all, this recording is a famous performance as a King Biscuit broadcast recording, and although it was officially released, it was cut quite a bit. This recording includes the entire concert, including the MC between songs and the long cheering parts. The highlight is that Too Daze Gone, which was released after being edited to 6 minutes 40 seconds, is recorded in the original 11 minute version without the riff and dialogue part in the middle. The album starts with the smash hit Everybody Wants You, and then goes on to a crisp pop performance typical of American rock, including early hits like In The Dark and The Stroke. And right up to the Stones cover at the end, it's a live performance at the height of their popularity.
