Billy Joel came to Japan with “STORM FRONT” reaching No. 1 in the United States for the third time. Therefore, we present to you a multi-camera professional shot that vividly depicts the scene from 25 years ago. This work is a TV broadcast of the "STORM FRONT JAPAN TOUR 1991" that includes the "January 3, 1991 Tokyo Dome performance". First, let's take a look at the entirety of the 7th Japan tour, along with the 2CD. ・January 2nd: Tokyo Dome ・January 3rd: Tokyo Dome [This work] ・January 6th: Osaka Castle Hall "OSAKA 1991 1ST NIGHT" (hereafter 2CD) ・January 7th: Osaka Castle Hall 1 January 10th: Yokohama Arena January 12th: Nagoya Rainbow Hall January 13th: Osaka Castle Hall In this way, there were a total of seven performances in Japan this year. Tokyo Dome is the first two performances, and this work is on the second day. This is the concert just before the 2CD. This live was broadcast on TV for about 50 minutes at the time, and was recorded by a domestic recording enthusiast. This enthusiast has been passionate about recording with high-end equipment since the late 1980s, and his collection is incomparable to most air checks. In fact, the master of this work is also of such a quality that it is hard to believe that it was broadcast in 1991, and the vivid image is almost like a laser disc. The sweat glistening on Billy's forehead, the guitar strings and even a single hair are shown super clearly. The master is in perfect condition, with no distortion or even a single line of noise. I'm not sure if the broadcast station still has the master, but even if it does, I wonder if it can maintain such vivid colors... It is truly a super quality that can be used as an official DVD as is. Billy's show, depicted with its visual beauty, is exactly as it was 25 years ago. Although the venue is different from the main press 2CD, you can feel plenty of Japanese vibes, and in "Only The Good Die Young", you can clearly see Billy singing while shaking hands with the audience. You can almost smell the excitement in the air early in the New Year from the monitor. Indeed, you can see the best view of the “other side” of a new masterpiece live album, and it will boost your imagination many times over. However, this work is still a different performance from the 2CD. Although it has been edited into a 50-minute broadcast time frame, you can also see scenes that cannot be heard in the main story, such as “Georgia On My Mind” where you sing and “New York State Of Mind” where the band also comes in in the second half. The highlight is "Piano Man" which is displayed at the end. You can take a close look at the unreleased pronouns from the 2CD Osaka performance with the best professional shots. ``As expected, I need this song...'' This song perfectly heals that thirst. A piece that gives a beautiful scene to the 2CD and also lets you enjoy the grand finale of "Piano Man." Not only that, but this work itself is a stunning video work. A masterpiece that brings back Billy Joel from 25 years ago in vivid colors. Please enjoy it to your heart's content along with the wonderful live album "OSAKA 1991 1ST NIGHT".
