A 1965 European collaboration between Bill Evans and Lee Konitz. Thanks to the remastering in 2014, you will be able to enjoy the vivid tone. During this period, Evans temporarily left the trio's activities, joined up with Konitz in Europe, and performed together in various places. The recorded sound sources are 2 sources. Tracks up to 4 include performances from the Copenhagen Jazz Festival on October 31st. Track 5 includes “HOW DEEP IS THE OCEAN” from the performance in Berlin on October 29th two days before. The first two songs are performed by a trio by Konitz, Neil Pedersen, and Alan Dawson. Evans appears from track 3 “COME RAIN OR COME SHINE”, and from then on, he plays in a piano trio, and in track 5 “HOW DEEP IS THE OCEAN”, you can listen to him play in a quartet that also includes Konitz.
