During this period, Evans temporarily left the trio's activities, joined up with Konitz in Europe, and performed together in various places. The recorded sound sources are 2 sources. Tracks up to 4 include performances from the Copenhagen Jazz Festival on October 31st. Track 5 includes “HOW DEEP IS THE OCEAN” from the performance in Berlin on October 29th two days before. The first two songs are performed by a trio by Konitz, Neil Pedersen, and Alan Dawson. Evans appears from track 3 “COME RAIN OR COME SHINE”, and from then on, he plays in a piano trio, and in track 5 “HOW DEEP IS THE OCEAN”, you can listen to him play in a quartet that also includes Konitz.
