May 6, 1979 London recorded the performance at Brunel University with high quality audience recording. Unfortunately, up until the end of Hells Bells on Track 1, the sound quality is a little muffled with poor treble, but from Track 2's Sample And Hold, the sound changes completely, and the instrument sound is transmitted directly, giving an excellent sense of realism. The sound quality will be great. Bruford and Holdsworth left UK after their performance at the Hard Rock Cafe in West Haven, Connecticut on October 9th and 10th, 1978, but in November they added Dave Stewart and Jeff Berlin ( Formed ``Bruford'' (also co-starred in ``Feels Good To Me''), recorded their first album as a band, ``One Of A Kind'', at London's Trident Studios in January-February 1979, and released it on March 7th of the following month. Bruford's debut live performance will be held at Oxford's Polytechnic. (The live concert, in which vocalist Annette Peacock also appeared as a guest, was broadcast on the BBC as “Rock Goes To College” and has now been officially released on DVD.) The show will start with a performance at Manchester Polytechnic on May 5th. This is the second performance of his first full-fledged UK tour under the Bruford name, but surprisingly, Holdsworth's active period on this tour was extremely short, and he performed from Manchester on the 5th to the Phoenix Theater on the 20th. Since he suddenly left the band after only 12 performances, this sound source that allows you to hear this four-person ensemble live is extremely valuable. Fainting In Coils has a fantastical atmosphere and features the band's unique groove, Forever Until Sunday has a wonderful uplifting feel created by symphonic keyboards, and masterpieces with exquisite rhythm development and vivid chord work (voicing). The four-person ensemble, which unfolds throughout the entire album, including the masterpiece The Sahara Of Snow, is truly full of things to listen to! All of the songs released so far (with the exception of "Rock Goes To College") have been recorded after John Clark joined the band, so this is the only one that contains performances by the quartet with Holdsworth and without Peacock. The first package of the sound source that can be said is truly the ultimate thing that fans have been waiting for! Please fully enjoy the many amazing performances released by the invincible Bruford, who has been polished in all aspects, including sound, ensemble, and interplay! !
