Grosse Pointe, Michigan was held on July 26th from the North American tour for the second album "One Of A Kind" released in 1979, following "Feels Good to Me" from his own band "Braford" after leaving "UK". Approximately 77 minutes of the live performance at the "Punch and Judy Theater" recorded with the highest level of ultra-high quality audience recording. (Also performed as "UK" at the same venue in July 1978, exactly one year before this performance.) Master sound source released by JEMS in recent years. Frankly speaking, this sound quality alone makes it a "buy!" title. It has top-class sound quality as a cassette recording at the time, and reproduces the exquisite live ensemble of "Bruford" from this period. The only live album from this period, ``Bruford Tapes'', records the July 12th New York performance from the broadcast sound source, so this live is the full-length version of the same day's live. Allan Holdsworth, who had participated in the album, left the group and was replaced by John Clark, who also boasts a transcendental technique. Holdsworth's fast playing is easily reproduced. Forever Until Sunday, which is well-known in the UK and has not yet been released as "Bruford Tapes", One Of A Kind Pt. 1, which has a dramatic development, and Travels With Myself And Someone Else (4:10 It's also nice to be able to listen to the entire live performance at the time, including cuts that appear to be tape changes. After the performance on Forever Until Sunday, Bill's MC, which included introducing the members, said, ``I think some of you may remember the last time we came to the UK.The business situation in the UK was dire, so we disbanded. ”. After that, the new song "Joe Frazier" that will be introduced is a number included in the next album "Gradually Going Tornado", which was premiered on this day. The overall sound balance is also very good, and apart from the missing Hell's Bells intro and the missing part at the beginning due to the tape being stopped before the encore Five G, the entire show can be heard in very high quality. You can enjoy the sound. The many sparks of interplay created by each player, which can be described as "unlimited", are irresistible to fusion rock fans. This is definitely a very high quality live album worth adding to your collection. Live at Punch And Judy Theatre, Grosse Pointe, MI. USA 26th July 1979 TRULY PEREFECT SOUND 1. Hell's Bells 2.
