The first US tour after the formation of B.B.&A. in 1972, which took place from October 20th to November 17th, was recorded at the Aquarius Theater in Boston on October 24th, the earliest performance of the tour. This recording was recorded almost completely and directly from the original audience master owned by Taper, which was recently discovered as a new sound source and introduced on the Internet. First of all, the ensemble has become even more unified than the previous Euro tour, and the improvisation parts and choruses are particularly well-organized. Beck's guitar is also recorded in a well-balanced manner along with Bogart's heavy bass, and each part has a clear and stable sound quality, recreating a precious live performance from a time when the album had not yet been released. The best part is the unfinished arrangements, the opening "Superstition" does not yet use the talking modulator, the medley "People Get Ready" and the following "Lady" feature the trio in intense unison, and the hard and aggressive battle in the jam part in the latter half. It's just a series of amazing performances. They were praised as "the strongest super trio on par with Cream and the Experience!" and this rare performance is a harbinger of the greatness of this trio that will be known to the world on their large-scale world tour. 01.
