This is a studio album that contains the demo session of the second album that was never released. It is a very famous album that has already been released, and it is also known that Page & Plant searched for it when they first came to Nishi-Shinjuku (lol). This work is the best of the classics. As expected, the original master is the same, so we can't advertise it as "a miraculous new master discovery!", but it is a master that is currently known as the best, which has been polished with meticulous mastering. It was a great stereo soundboard recording from the past, but it wasn't perfect. The sound pressure and stereo balance were all over the place, and the pitch was significantly out of sync depending on the song. Of course, it's only a demo recording, so it's only natural that it's broken, but for us who listen to it as a "second album that might have been released," we need a perfect work feel as much as possible. So, this work was polished from that perspective. The stereo feeling and pitch were balanced to the right, and the sound pressure was evened out. In particular, "Satisfied," which was off by 60% of a semitone, sounds completely different. The "phantom second album" revived with that quality is truly wonderful. While maintaining the hard rock sound heard in the debut work, the musicality has become much wider and more diverse. "Jizz Whizz" (a different version from the take made official in "BECKOLOGY"), which was born from the part inserted in the live "Morning Dew", "Laughing Lady", a ballad that makes the most of Carmine's vocals, "Satisfied", which features Jeff's funky cutting, and more. Although it is not yet complete, the trio's tension exceeds that of the debut work, and Jeff's phrases, which seem to be stepping into crossover/fusion, also shine. You can enjoy such performances with a more natural and unified sound. This is the best version of a famous recording that you must listen to. This is the first time that the left and right balance has been optimized and the pitch has been accurately corrected! (Remastering memo) Only the 7th track has been corrected to a pitch about 60% lower than the semitone. (Judgment based on open strings) Left-right balance and overall sound pressure are equalized.
