This is a "Recording Session Chronology" that compiles in chronological order the precious session recordings of "The White Album," which celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2018. The White Album was released in November 1968 as Apple Records' first double album, and the session recordings that took place at Abbey Road Studios (partly at Trident Studios) are recorded in roughly chronological order. It also compiles promo sessions, sessions with Paul and Donovan, and other related recordings from the same period, such as John's "Rock and Roll Circus." In addition, some of the newly discovered studio chats and multi-track recordings that analyze and separate each instrument and vocal are making their first appearance, and the familiar outtakes and rehearsal recordings have been upgraded and remastered to provide the best sound possible. This is the third installment of the 2018 Special Collector's Edition.
