This live performance, which is popular as the Beatles' largest concert, has been released in various items since the analog era, but first of all, the label's "GREATEST LIVE MOMENT OF THEIR CAREER" is recognized among fans as the longest and best quality definitive edition, surpassing other items made from auction copies. And as for the video, why was it released again, even though the quality was significantly improved from the previous one, which was also released by the same label? This title is completely different from the previous ones, the leak route is decisively different, and the quality is not simply improved. Incidentally, this video has been rumored among core enthusiasts for quite some time, and although its existence was known, it was not generally available to the public. The video that was previously available was either blown up to 35mm film for distribution to each TV station after shooting and editing at the time, or copied from this 35mm film to 16mm film, which was used as the source. However, as the film was copied over and over, the original colors and details were lost, and even though it was a color image, the color had faded considerably. However, this work is different from them, and the "LPP film (Low Fade Positive Print)" used here is the second generation film that was the base for creating 35mm blow-up prints. By the way, since positive film, especially "LPP film", is expensive for movie films, cheaper negative film is usually used for the original shooting. In order to transfer the shot and edited negative image to LPP, which is a positive film, the negative image is transferred to negative film in a mechanism that obtains the final positive image. Therefore, this "LPP film version" is a screen with inverted colors, but by digitally telecining it and further inverting the colors, the original colors can be obtained, and it has been revived as a vivid image very close to the original. Up until now, the complete version was color footage, but it had faded after being copied, and the overall color was sepia-toned and monotonous, but this one is reproduced with a quality close to the original, with the entire video in vivid color, the blue of the sky, the green of the grass, the skin color of the members, the light of the cocktail lights, all in vivid colors, right in front of you. In addition, the sound was also digitally remastered and matrixed for the video from the reel sound source that was the basis for the same label's "GREATEST LIVE MOMENT OF THEIR CAREER". The high-quality color footage with the original sound is a truly perfect finish, and the content is also first digitally telecine the original "LPP" 16mm film print, overlaid with remastered sound, and the misalignment between the video and sound was corrected as much as possible, followed by "RE-BUILT", a version that was arranged in the order of the songs from the actual concert, reconstructed and edited into one work, including this LPP, using all the currently available video material. And here is "IN STEREO", which also contains surprising audio in stereo. At the time of recording this performance, two different mix-outs were made from the mixer desk, and the recordings were split into two reels, which were then combined into a stereo recording. Although it is only three songs, it is recorded in wide stereo sound, and this newly excavated footage of the highest quality of Shea Stadium can be enjoyed from various angles. In addition, the Ed Sullivan Show from the day before the Shea Stadium performance on August 14, 1965 is also included as a bonus track.
