Beatles Magical Mystery Tour 50th Anniversary Edition

2017 marks the 50th anniversary of the release of Magical Mystery Tour, and it is here as the 10th installment in the series of CD+DVD anniversary editions. This title is a 1CD+3DVD set, with the CD containing the "Anniversary Remix & Remaster" as in the past, and a total of 24 songs, including the extras. The main video is the video album, which reproduces all the songs with the latest original edited footage, and the overseas edit "Revisited", which can be said to be a re-edited long version of the promo footage and magical footage. The first half of the album, which is side A, contains all the songs in alternate edit versions, different from the video version of Magical Mystery Tour, and the single collection on side B is also in alternate edit versions different from the original promo footage. The promo video extras also include different versions of "Hello Goodbye" and "Hey Bulldog", which are not included in the video album, and "Lady Madonna", which is a different edit of the same footage. Furthermore, "Magical Mystery Tour Revisited" is a long re-edited version edited by an overseas collector, and is a new video version that changes the order and editing of the songs in the main magical video, including the songs from the single collection on the B-side of the album. The following DVD:2 contains an alternate edition of "Magical Mystery Tour" from unreleased film newly excavated in 2017 and a collection of outtake videos. It is a valuable version that includes many rare unreleased scenes that have never been seen before and is edited completely differently from the official video. And the last DVD:3 is an audio DVD containing a studio session from the latter half of 1967 in slideshow format. A convenient collection of outtake sound data that can be listened to by song in total for 4 hours and 39 minutes and played by selecting from the video menu. As a 50th anniversary edition of the album, this is the ultimate collector's item that is a culmination of the full content this time, covering both sound and video materials. CD : 1.
