This is amazing!! A must-see DVD for video enthusiasts, this DVD contains the full 3 hour and 15 minute "Beatles Special" broadcast on a commercial TV station late at night in October 1989. The broadcast was planned to coincide with John's birthday on October 9th (there is a caption at the beginning saying "Happy Birthday John Lennon"), and various guests discuss their own theories on the Beatles while airing Beatles footage, a must-see for enthusiasts. In an era without the Internet and no comments from enthusiasts, the loose progress and (overly) casual comments leave a warm impression, and the show makes you feel relaxed and think "Showa was a great time" even though it's not related to anything. The amazing thing is that at the 11th minute, Yoko Ono, who was in Paris for an exhibition, talks live on the phone with the presenter. It is amazing that Yoko Ono is talking about John and the Beatles live on a late-night TV program like this, and that it is being broadcast live (after the program ends, the presenter comments, "I was moved to have her on Prestige"). During the program, they introduce songs that were influenced by the Beatles and songs that sound like Beatles songs by playing them in the studio (if the theme of the movie "Proof of the Man" sounds like Hey Jude, they play songs in succession. It's a bit forceful, but it brings back memories), and they select and introduce commercials and movies that use Beatles songs, which is also a fun and original project that catches your eye (the KDD commercial featuring Imagine brings back memories). The Beatles Information broadcast at 2 hours 27 minutes introduces The Beatles CD Box set to be released at the end of the year (after this, a promo for This One is played as Paul's new album). It's just three weeks before Ringo Starr's visit to Japan, so it's also fun to see the schedule of his Japanese performances introduced. The program that airs in the third hour edited the footage of Let It Be, which is a rare find. In addition, although it is not directly related to the Beatles, there are a number of commercials that will fill you with nostalgia if you were there in real time at the time. The hotel commercial with a sexy atmosphere featuring a Monroe lookalike, the "Famicom Trade" commercial where you trade stocks at home using the Famicom of the time, and the amazing performance of the young Aderans man at the end will leave you dumbfounded (it's a really good time when there are no computers on each desk in the office). Both the image quality and sound are recorded with the highest quality. This is a must-see video for fans that was broadcast at the time, with a rough frame of three and a half hours. Tonight, please enjoy our major Beatles and John Lennon special from Japan in autumn 1989, which could truly be called a (hidden) cultural heritage. Broadcast Date: 9th October 1989 1. CM 2.
