This DVD contains the concerts and related footage from Chicago, which they visited for three consecutive years in 1964, 1965, and 1966, when they performed on their American tour. This work is a compilation of footage from Chicago performances by decade, and the fact that The Beatles performed in Chicago many times seems to have been a proud event for the local area, and the bonus footage also includes a documentary produced by a local Chicago station. First of all, 1964 was their first American tour, and their first appearance in front of Chicago fans, so the concert was held under the close watch of the media, and the concert was filmed by multiple cameras, and I was particularly surprised by the close shot from under the stage. John, who was playing "All My Loving," was clearly concentrating on his guitar, playing the song without humming. Also, the film was rolling in the arena where the show was held before the show started, and in contrast to the empty stage before the show started, we could see the fans who were impatient for The Beatles to appear. What is surprising is the vivid color footage of the concert, which evenly captures each member from the front of the stage. It is a wonderfully vivid color image that is strange that it was not used in the anthology. In any case, it is amazing to be able to watch the 1964 live performance in color, and the press conference is also included at the end. The following 1965 concert was not held at an indoor arena, but at the huge White Sox Stadium, and you can see the Beatles walking from the bench to the stage, and the pole adjusting the microphone. The stage was set up behind the mound, and no one was allowed on the field, only the stands. And it seems to be footage for news, and not only the enthusiastic fans, but the stage is well-filmed in black and white, and the camera is shot from multiple cameras, including one from the left of the stands and one from the front. The Chicago News news camera is a different camera from the one recorded earlier, and the footage is captured from the left side of the stage. And finally, the press conference of that year is also included. The last 1966 performance was also recorded in color. It was taken by an amateur cameraman at the venue, and although it is undeniable that the focus is poor and there is some camera shake, it is a valuable video that conveys the state of the concert at that time, and it is interesting to compare the differences since it was a concert right after the Japan performance. And what made the American tour that year chaotic was John's so-called Jesus statement, and even though the Beatles were gathered at the press conference, the questions were focused on John, and John's desperate defense is also recorded. And finally, as a bonus video, a documentary about the Chicago performance produced by a local station is included. Unfortunately, it is only in English, but it includes interviews with people involved at the time, and you can see how the Beatles were accepted in Chicago. It records the Beatles' Chicago performance over three years with precious color footage, including footage of their first appearance, and you will surely be surprised at how much footage you have never seen before. It is a permanent press DVD. [INTERNATIONAL AMPHITEATRE CHICAGO IL, U.S.A. September 5th 1964] 01. B&W 16mm by WGN 02. B&W 16mm by Barbre Productions 03. Color 8mm by Bill Diehl 04.
