ARTIFACTS II is a sequel to 1993's "ARTIFACTS", which included rare Beatles recordings. Contains the rarest and most elusive Tracks that appear only in the past. More than 30 years have passed since the Beatles began writing and recording music that would forever change the popular music scene. During those 30 years, countless tapes were recorded and archived by the Beatles at work, at home, in the studio, on radio and television, and in various locations around the world. This "ARTIFACTS II" contains the best of the rest. Like "ARTIFACTS," the sound sources are arranged in chronological order, and recordings and background information are included to help you understand the sound sources. That's considering these CDs, which contain historical recordings from the Beatles' golden age. This disc includes each take taken at EMI Studios, as well as a demo tape taken at George's vacation home with Esher. It's interesting to listen to the demo with just one acoustic guitar, as it sounds completely different from the released version. Also, Tracks 14-17 are from a tape that Ringo reportedly gave to his friend Peter Sellers.
