Beatles Anthology Japanese TV Broadcast Edition Jewel Version

So nostalgic...so nostalgic. The immortal Beatles documentary "ANTHOLOGY" aired in Japan on New Year's Eve 1995. New Year's Eve is a hugely popular day for Japanese national TV, and it would be unthinkable today that "ANTHOLOGY" would compete with it (though its viewership ratings were crushingly defeated by the national TV program). For Japanese Beatles enthusiasts, a dream come true came true on New Year's Eve 1995. "ANTHOLOGY" was later officially released on VHS and DVD, but before its release on DVD, it was first broadcast on television in countries around the world. Furthermore, the version broadcast in Japan on New Year's Eve featured unique, nostalgic opening sequences, unique to each station, making it a unique broadcast experience. While "ANTHOLOGY" itself can be seen on the official release, the original 1995 broadcast can only be viewed on footage recorded at the time. Someone has uploaded this nostalgic version to YouTube. There are limitations to uploading long broadcasts to YouTube, so some scenes have been cut at the discretion of the video owner. Scenes from each film have generally been cut, as have live performances from the Ed Sullivan Show and Shea Stadium. Despite this, scenes like the July 1st Budokan performance and the 1965 Blackpool concert are included, likely reflecting the video owner's preferences. However, the "ANTHOLOGY" itself can be found in the official items mentioned above, so this isn't a problem. Rather, all of the parts added during the Japanese broadcast have been included. This includes not only the opening, but also the Strawberry Fields visit report inserted between episodes of the movie "HELP!", and the ending. The finale also includes a collection of commercials that were inserted during the original broadcast, which is also very nostalgic. In addition to the unique Japanese production, the lyrics added to the song scenes are also translated in a way that is easy to understand, as befits a television station, which adds a touch of charm.
