The first Beatles CD was "Abbey Road" released only in Japan in 1983, and it is a famous story that it was recalled immediately after its release. The reason for this was the master tape used for the CD. This album was originally based on a new tape provided by the Beatles when the album was reissued in 1978 under the limited brand Pro Use Series. Because of this, the Pro Use LP is now being re-evaluated, and the reason for this re-evaluation is that the CD was recorded in a flat state without the mastering that was used for the Pro Use version, so the sound is closer to the original master tape. It is true that the sound quality is completely different from the 2009 remaster, and compared to the warm and thick version, it feels like a thin but clear sound quality. However, rather than ranking them as superior or inferior, I would honestly say that these are different mastering versions that should be chosen based on your preference for sound quality. In particular, the delicate texture of Mean Mr. Mustard may be easier to listen to. This is a legendary record that is completely lost, so this is also a very valuable item! 1983 Japanese Original Pressing CD
