The Beach Boys recorded live albums during their tour in August and September 1967 after the release of the album Smiley Smile. The live recordings were from their Hawaii concerts on August 25th and 26th, 1967. Some of the recordings from this concert have been included in various compilations, but a complete live album has yet to be released. The working title of this live album was Lei'd in Hawaii. This has a double meaning: wearing a lei, a flower necklace, around one's neck, and sharing a bed with a woman. This album follows this planned title. Disc 1 contains the Hawaii concert on August 25th, 1967. The sound quality is from a soundboard recording, but there are several differences in the sources due to differences in the outflow route. Since each has its own characteristics in sound quality, this album contains three sources, SOURCE A, SOUCE B, and SOUCE E, each of which has been recorded without editing. Disc 2 contains the Hawaii performance on August 26, 1967. The sound quality is also from a soundboard, and due to differences in the outflow route, three types of SOUCE C, SOUCE D, and SOUCE E are recorded without editing. In the second half, six rehearsal tracks for the Hawaii performance are also recorded. The main focus of this work is of course the unreleased live album "LEI'D IN HAWAII", but a DVD containing rare footage from the 1960s is included. The main focus is the 1966 London performance, but the video of "God Only Knows" from the 1967 Hawaii performance is valuable because it has never been possible to see the full song with the sound from that day. Both Hawaii performances on August 25 and 26, 1967, recorded for the unreleased live album "LEI'D IN HAWAII", are included, including different sources.
