In 1983, seven years after The Last Waltz disbanded, the four members went on a reunion tour without Robbie Robertson, and from their memorable first Japan tour, the tour was held in Tokyo on September 1st. Recorded live at Shinjuku Welfare Pension Hall in master quality, soundboard sound source. This is mastered by the sound source that was made into an official video that was released after this visit to Japan, and the video is now difficult to obtain, and the only other source from this tour is the leaked soundboard sound source of the Osaka performance. It is no longer in circulation, so it is now a valuable sound source. With the addition of the members of the Kate Brothers, the set list for this six-month long tour to Japan can be described as the "Best of the Band," featuring four skilled performers who will not let you feel Robbie's absence.
