Badfinger Anthology Best of Apple Years and Video Treasures

The definitive video anthology that traces the trajectory of Badfinger, who inherited the genes of the Beatles! A special memorial edition of the latest edited 2-disc DVD set that chronologically compiles a number of precious videos from the early days of the Ivies to the Apple era. The Ivies made their debut with Mary Hopkin and James Taylor on the Apple label established by the Beatles in 1968. At the time, "Maybe Tomorrow" was released as a single in Japan, but it did not become a hit in the UK or the US, so they later re-debuted as "Badfinger" with "Come and Get It" written by Paul McCartney, which became a smash hit. They participated in George Harrison's "All Things Must Pass" and the Concert for Bangladesh, and George produced the 1971 album "Straight Up," which led to them being recognized as the younger brother band of the Beatles. They produced hit singles such as "Stormy Love" and "Day After Day," and composed the rare masterpiece "Without You," which was also covered by Nilsson and Mariah Carey and reached number one in the United States. Pete Ham, the leader of the band, committed suicide due to contract issues with the demise of the Apple label, and a few years later, original member Tom Evans also committed suicide, so they were talked about as a "tragic band." Although the remaining members continued to work after that, they never achieved success beyond the peak of their Apple days. This video anthology traces Badfinger's trajectory from their debut, when they were most active, such as live performances and TV and radio appearances, to the Apple era in the 1970s, and is the definitive version of a comprehensive video collection that has never been seen before. Footage that was previously only available on poor quality video is included in the latest edited version with eye-opening high quality. "Set of Six," a must-see studio live video, is recorded in a widescreen edit remastered in stereo, and its upgrade quality is particularly noteworthy. All other footage is carefully selected from the best high-quality and high-quality video materials available at the moment, making this a literal best collection. The second DVD is a rarities collection called "Video Treasures," which compiles rare footage that does not overlap with the best collection, such as different versions and different edits.
