Babyface had already performed his vocals on The Deal. He has ended his collaboration with L.A. Reid and is finally starting to work as a solo artist, but I think there are many people who are curious about what his live performances will be like. A 75-minute performance recorded at the Newport Beach Jazz Festival in 2013 with a very realistic audience recording. His solo songs clearly show the greatness of his singing ability. It feels like Marvin Gaye or El DeBarge are performing live. It's really great, but the performance that makes me cringe is especially in the second half, where Babyface sings a medley of songs he gave to others. The arrangements are unique to him, and it's great to see that he values live performances. Above all, all of the songs are masterpieces and big hits, making it a live performance that once again shows the greatness of Babyface's songwriting.
