The best equipment of the 1970s was used to capture AWB's September 13, 1975 live performance at the Palace Theater, the essence of blue-eyed funk that was led by Alan Gorey and had a blacker-than-average sound. Recorded with a wonderful audience recording captured in . In 1975, they released the masterpiece Cut The Cake, and at this point AWB's unrivaled funk sound had been established, and their live performances were also well received. At this live show, AWB's current set list has all the must-have songs, and there are no useless songs. In addition, they performed songs such as Cloudy from Person To Person in 1976, and it was a performance with an eye on the next, and there was a band on the rise.
