John Wetton's last wish was AISA. On January 11, 2017, he announced that he would not be participating in the tour due to cancer treatment, but at that time he also said powerful words, "I intend to join the tour within the year." Unfortunately, that did not come true, and he passed away 20 days after the comment. We have prepared the best footage of AISA, which Wetton loved last. This work contains the "Alexandria performance on August 3, 2010". It is a superb audience shot of the "OMEGA TOUR", which is also popular among enthusiasts. There is a reason why I chose this work from among the many records of ASIA. First of all, it is of the finest quality, but what is even more moving is the "feelings" of the photographer. The enthusiast who shot this work loves ASIA and Wetton fiercely. The photographer doesn't say anything, but the angle/camera work is a video that exudes endless love. Anyway, his understanding of the songs and highlights is amazing. For example, even when zooming in on Wetton, he doesn't miss his gestures and hand movements even when he's slightly away from the bass, and he captures the expressions that show the emotions he puts into the lyrics. The way he captures "Don't Cry," in which he sings with the bass at the back, and "The Smile Has Left Your Eyes," which has been returned to its original two-part structure. In particular, the latter clearly shows Wetton's gestures and expressions that change along with his voice in the first and second halves. This cameraman has certainly been to ASIA's live shows many times, and has burned Wetton's image into his mind. Cuts that would otherwise be impossible continue to flow smoothly. Of course, it's not just Wetton. Steve Howe, Geoff Downes, Carl Palmer... the highlights of each member are the same. You can clearly see the delicate finger movements and bold touch. Not only the guitar solos, but also the guitar and keyboards at the points where you want to hear that phrase, such as "Through My Veins." A close-up of Carl's dynamic stick handling shows the maestros at close range. On the other hand, the versatility on the spot is also wonderful. For example, before "Holy War", Carl leaves his chair to adjust the drum kit (bass drum?) in preparation for the intense solo in the second half of the song, but Wetton notices Carl doing something behind him during the MC and smiles wryly, "?" It's not just detailed, but the relationship and breathing of the four people is also permeated, and they are truly enjoying the atmosphere on site. It is a video work that turns the feelings we see and feel at the live site into a visible "shape". I forgot to write something important about the camera work that was so wonderful. The greatest beauty of this work is the basic quality that depicts that gaze. It was shot from the back seats on the first floor, but a tripod was used, and the stage was looked directly at over the heads of the audience. It is almost a professional shot when zoomed in without being bothered by the heads and arms of the front row. Of course, since it's a tripod, it's extremely stable. There's no camera shake even when you get a close-up look, and if the panoramic scroll is smooth, the zoom moves slowly and is extremely easy to see. On top of that, the sound is also superb. The sound is clear with zero obstructions, which is appropriate for the view, but the acoustics are beautiful and different from the soundboard. Howe's guitar and Downes' synths pour down majestically, and the bass and singing voice that are right in the middle of it reach straight like a laser beam. Even the curls and the subtle hits of the hi-hat sparkle. The sound quality is so good that the audio alone could be made into a CD. The AISA show, depicted with that quality, is also heart-warming. As mentioned earlier about Wetton, this "OMEGA TOUR" is also popular for Howe's maturity and stability, and it's full of flavor. In "Open Your Eyes", the fixed side guitar is played alternately with the handheld guitar to change the tone and sound, the dynamism of the lively "Finger On The Trigger" and the heavy "Time Again", the supple fingering in the middle solo of the dramatic "An Extraordinary Life", the Howe-marked cutting in "The Heat Goes On"... there are so many highlights. All of them are depicted with fierce visual beauty. After the grand finale of "Heat Of The Moment", the four members leave the venue with their arms around each other. This is a video that captures the final moment with superb visual beauty. The best high-quality image, high-quality sound, and complete recording... that is wonderful in itself, but if that's all you need to see, you can just watch the official video. However, no matter how many official video works have been released, there is no video that overflows with "feelings" to this extent. The gaze of someone who has continued to love AISA and Wetton. The passion to leave it behind. The photographer's "silent feelings" touch our hearts and speak for us. This is a photo that brings up and sympathizes with us, even as we watch Wetton every day. Now, more than ever, we want this photo to be in your hands, for you who can empathize with this feeling. It has been newly authored and an original menu has been added.
