On January 31, 2017, John Wetton passed away. 2016 was a nightmare year in which many artists passed away, and we even lost Keith Emerson and Greg Lake. Eight weeks after Greg's death, now Wetton... Just when we thought the nightmare was over, many people are feeling crushed. How should we respond to such feelings, what should we deliver to share them? After much hesitation, we chose this work. This is the best video of ASIA, who has reorganized from the original. This is a masterpiece audience shot of the "London performance on December 3, 2006". After reuniting in 2006, they started their tour in August. They toured the United States and the UK until December. The London performance in this work is the last day of the tour. For us, the most memorable performance was the one in Japan in March 2007, but that was the first show in 2007. In other words, this work is a piece filled with "just before the original first visit to Japan". This work is a superb video that brings back the scene of the visit to Japan. In addition to the super vivid image beauty of digital equipment, the angle is also strong. It was shot from the back of the first floor seats of the venue, but it seems to be using a tripod, so the viewpoint is high and the sense of stability is tremendous. The shadows of the arms and heads of the front row do not enter at all, and the stage is looked directly at. Not only Wetton, but also Steve Howe, Carl Palmer, and Geoff Downes are clearly reflected. And, with the stability of a tripod, there is no camera shake, and they attack with a bold zoom. The clarity is vivid from one bass string to each hair of Howe, as if it were one angle of a professional shot. Even with that quality, this work is an audience shot. It is full of a "sense of the scene" that cannot be expected from a multi-camera pro shot. Although the sound, like the view, comes straight from the stage, there is a slight "ringing" that is unique to the scene. Howe's guitar and Downs' synth are colored with a beauty that seems to fall. And the performance is wonderful, and it is more mature than Japan, where it was the first restart on the last day of the tour. The audience who had been waiting for such ASIA are intoxicated with the beautiful melody and shaken by the joy of the revival.... They actually made their "original first visit to Japan" and left the official video "FANTASIA: LIVE IN TOKYO". Perhaps many people are watching it in search of memories. This work has the same set list as that official video, but here there is a feeling of "being in front of you" that is not in the official video. I think this is what we need now. ASIA was planning to restart in 2017, but Wetton announced his departure before the start for treatment. He was a person who did not return. If the disease had waited a little longer, we might have been able to meet "Wetton of ASIA" once more. We might have been able to say goodbye. This work is necessary precisely because that could not be realized. This is a film that will bring back memories of that 2007 and allow you to say goodbye. We present it to you. It has been newly authored and has an original menu. Live at Shepherd's Bush Empire, London, UK 3rd December 2006 AMAZING SHOT!!! 1. Intro. 2. Time Again 3. Wildest Dreams 4. One Step Closer 5.
