The new project ARW (Anderson, Rabin, Wakeman) is making waves with its upcoming visit to Japan. Not only is it a group of three former members of YES, but their newly arranged YES music has also been well-received worldwide. The latest live album from ARW has been released. This work was recorded at the Salt Lake City performance on November 17, 2016. We have been reporting on ARW with numerous live albums since the project's launch, and this is the latest installment. First, as promised, let's imagine ARW's position from the overall activities of ARW.・October 4th - December 3rd, 2016: North America (36 shows) {About 3 months later} ←★Now★・March 7th, 2017: Tel Aviv show・March 12th - 25th, 2017: UK (10 shows)・March 27th + 28th, 2017: Belgium + Netherlands (2 shows) {About 3 weeks later}・April 17th - 24th, 2017: Japan (6 shows) The above is an overview of the schedule that has been announced so far. The North American leg has now ended, and they are now on a three-month break. There are 36 shows in North America, and we have delivered five live albums to you so far. Let's take a look back at the lineup here.・October 4th (first day) "ORLANDO 2016" ・October 7th (second performance) "CLEARWATER 2016" ・October 21st (10th performance) "WALLINGFORD 2016" ・November 2nd (18th performance) "DEFINITIVE BUFFALO 2016" ・November 17th (27th performance) [this work] ・November 19th (28th performance) "LAS VEGAS 2016" In this way, this work is the latter half of the North American leg, and is a sister work that contains the show before "LAS VEGAS 2016" which was reported the other day. The greatest taste of this work is the quality. Since it is a gift among many regular releases so far, it may seem that it is not so good, but it is not. It's a really beautiful audience sound, and the clear and straight-reaching musical tones even surpass "LAS VEGAS 2016", making it one of the best masterpieces ever. However, "Cinema" at the beginning of the show was not recorded, and faded in from the second song "Perpetual Change". It's a small gap of less than 5% compared to the whole show, but it's still a gap. Also, the Japan performance was announced. It's been talked about in the streets that the three former YES members have teamed up, but even if you want to hear it for yourself, nothing has been officially released. Some people may be hesitant to go to Japan, saying, "I'm curious, but what should I do..." Of course, I would like those people to fully enjoy the live albums released in the normal release, starting with "DEFINITIVE BUFFALO 2016", but there is still a threshold. This week, the original YES's superb Live in Japan will be released, so I thought I'd give ARW a try and get it for you. In fact, the clear sound of this work is perfect for beginners. As mentioned above, the first song cannot be heard, but the rest of the sound is one of the best on the tour. You can enjoy the new arrangements that revive the individuality of Rick Wakeman and Trevor Rabin, the much talked about talented rhythm section, and John's unchanged singing voice...all of these can be enjoyed in detail. Although it is not complete, this two-disc set allows you to fully enjoy the charm of the new project ARW. Please choose this work when you are looking for the title of YES's Japan performance.
