ANTHRAX, the biggest slash band in New York, and its early members (Dan Lilka & John Connelly) formed the offshoot NUCLEAR ASSAULT. The out-of-print official footage of the famous brother band in thrash history is to be released. This work contains two performances. Multi-camera pro shots of the "June 3, 2005, Sayreville performance (ANTHRAX)" and the "June 5, 2005, Allentown performance (NUCLEAR ASSAULT)". Yes, this is a reprint coupling of "ALIVE 2" and "LOUDER HARDER FASTER", in which the two heroes reunited with their golden members. It's a coupling of live footage with different bands, places, and times just because it's a reunion connection... but in fact, even though they're different, they're very close. As I mentioned before, the bands are brothers, but the dates of the live shows are two days apart (June 3 and 5), and the venues are just a little over an hour away by car. They didn't even have any live shows scheduled for each other's performance days, so much so that you'd want to look at the screen and wonder, "Are they actually coming to see each other?" Such a brotherly work was also the crystallization of a thrasher's dream. After all, both ANTHRAX and NUCLEAR ASSAULT's golden lineup collapsed in 1992. They leaned towards popular music such as groove metal and grindcore. Although they each gave us great music, the true feelings of fans were that they missed the lively thrash metal unique to New York. "ALIVE 2" and "LOUDER HARDER FASTER" were official pro shots that made that dream come true all at once. What kind of masterpieces were the crystallization of that dream? When the two heroes reunited, an official live album was also produced, with ANTHRAX releasing the same-titled "ALIVE 2" and NUCLEAR ASSAULT releasing "ALIVE AGAIN". However, this work has a different set from both of them, so let's compare and organize them here. ANTHRAX・Insanity Thrash Infection: A.I.R./Madhouse (★)/Medusa・Among The Living: Among The Living/Caught In A Mosh/Efilnikufesin (N.F.L.)/Indians/I Am The Law・Persistence of Time: In My World/Time・Other: Deathrider/I'm The Man (★)/Be All, End All *Note: Songs marked with "★" are not available on the CD version of "ALIVE 2". NUCLEAR ASSAULT・Survive: Rise From The Ashes/Brainwashed/F#・Handle With Care: New Song/Critical Mass/Trail Of Tears・Other Classics: Sin/Game Over-Butt Fuck・Third World Genocide: Price Of Freedom (★)/Long Haired Asshole (★) *Note: Songs marked with "★" are not available on the live album "ALIVE AGAIN". The East Coast scene collaborated with hardcore bands to create their own unique thrash metal. This is a pro shot that marks the revival of the brother band, which is a symbol of that. Both heroes are still active, but this work from over 15 years ago was still young, and the lineup is the same as it was in the golden age. This is a piece that is full of thrash metal that is different from both the Bay Area and Germany. The out-of-print official video of the brother band that symbolizes the NY thrash scene has been released. Coupling "ALIVE 2" and "LOUDER HARDER FASTER", you can enjoy the best selection live performance with all the golden members of both.
