With the death of Gregg Allman at the age of 69 in May 2017, four of the six original Allman Brothers members were absent, marking another end to the history of Southern Rock. In memory of Gregg, we present a 2-CD set of his great performances from the early 70s. After losing Duane Allman and Berry Oakley in unfortunate accidents in quick succession, the Allman Brothers broke new ground in 1973 with Brothers & Sisters, and began a new tour with Dickey Betts. The second day of the legendary live show held at RFK Stadium in Washington DC on June 9th and 10th as a double header with the Greyful Dead before the tour is recorded almost completely in master quality and soundboard audio from Bill Graham's Wolfgang's Vault. First of all, the set included hits from the same album such as "Ramblin' Man", "Jessica" and "Vapid Words" in addition to the representative numbers so far, and the interplay color was lighter and the earthy southern rock color was stronger. Also, "Midnight Rider" and "Stormy Monday" were replaced from the first day, and "Mountain Jam" was not included, but there was plenty of fulfilling performance as a new Allman. 1 :1. Wasted Words 2.
