Early THE ALICE COOPER GROUP brought "horror" to rock and created a unique shock rock. Introducing a collection of the best professional shots that will allow you to fully immerse yourself in the journey of these guys who have taken the world by storm for about 4 hours. This work contains 12 types, 46 takes, and 3 hours, 58 minutes, and 43 seconds of treasure footage. Speaking of professional shots from the group era, the 1973 masterpiece movie "GOOD TO SEE YOU AGAIN" is a symbol, but the field of this work is "before that." From 1969, when they just debuted, to just before they reached their peak with ``Billion Dollar Babies'' (more precisely, up to the preceding single ``Alice is President''), we have collected all the multi-camera professional shots in the highest quality. It's an amazing two-disc set. The quality is the biggest point, but this work also has a delicious structure that is easy to watch and understand. At that time, they were on sale, so there was a wide variety of video types. In this work, rather than simply arranging them in chronological order, they are organized and recorded into "TV appearances" and "concerts/lives." Now, let's introduce each one individually. [DISC 1: 1971/1972 TV appearance professional shots (6 programs, 22 takes)] DISC 1 first half: Main broadcast version (10 takes) The first compilation is from when he appeared on a TV program. Multi-camera professional shot. It is not a concert broadcast in front of an audience, but a studio live on an in-house set. This section is further subdivided into two, with the first half being the final version that was actually broadcast. The second half features more maniac treasures such as different takes and unaired songs that were leaked in later years. First of all, the main broadcast pro shots of 5 programs and 10 songs will appear. In fact, all of the footage is familiar to fans from history videos, etc., but the quality is not. Only the second one, “DETROIT TUBEWORKS (1971),” has a slightly sweet analog image quality, so it is difficult to say that it is “completely official quality,” but I would like to say that the others are. The image quality, including digital rebroadcasts and leaked station masters, is superb, and even for the downgraded "DETROIT TUBEWORKS," it is definitely the best ever, and it is the best version of "Black Juju" without the tape distortion that was so unsightly. . And with that quality, the real thrill of being able to witness Alice in her early days just hitting the world stage is irresistible. At 24 years old, Alice is extremely slim, and the members with whom she shares a common destiny also look extremely youthful. Shock rock is still in the trial and error stage, and it's interesting to see things like electric chair performances and lame costumes evolve with each show. The second half of DISC 1: Different versions (12 takes) The second half is a collection of different versions that reveal the behind the scenes of such TV appearances. There is also a super upgraded version of “DETROIT TUBEWORKS” “Reelin’ In The Years Version (I could have pressed it if I had all the songs with this…)”, but most of them are unaired takes. You can see plenty of different takes, such as a blue background with a temporary background composition and different costumes from the main broadcast. Particularly interesting is "THE OLD GRAY WHISTLE TEST (1971)." “Is It My Body”, which was never aired, is also delicious, but even more so is the rawness of the unedited master! After all, suddenly there was a "bleep" noise and color bars. I thought the deck had malfunctioned, but even when Alice and the others appeared, the performance kept stopping and I had to start over again. Each time, a blackboard-style test board video is inserted to distinguish between takes, and the snakes are filmed without sound, perhaps for editing material. And the more they tried again, the more obviously the band got fed up with it, and it was funny that Alice was singing, "Do whatever you want...". And this collection of different versions is also of the highest quality. The tension may be different between TV appearances and concerts, but the discs are divided so that you can fully immerse yourself in this visual beauty. This one piece alone is a video work that you can thoroughly enjoy for 1 hour and 43 minutes at its finest. [DISC 2: Concert footage from 1969-1972 (6 performances, 24 songs)] The second disc contains approximately 2 hours and 16 minutes of professional shots of the stage where it belongs. Although it is not as good as DISC 1 in terms of quality, it is still a collection of the best masters that can be desired at the moment. More than that, it's a disc that leaves you dizzy with its suffocating historical mood and preciousness. September 13, 1969: TORONTO ROCK N ROLL REVIVAL (1 song) First appeared at the very beginning, about 3 months after the release of "Pretty's for You". This is a professional shot taken when I performed at a festival in Toronto. This festival is actually the site of the famous chicken incident. The performance was staged by legendary manager Shep Gordon (who apparently never officially signed Alice), and included tearing up pillows stolen from a hotel, scattering feathers from the stage onto the audience, and throwing chickens at them. is. The scene was also used in documentaries, and some of you may have seen it in black and white. In this work, such historical moments are recorded in full color and in a long version of about 13 minutes. Featuring dynamic drum solos and avant-garde roars, Alice and Neil get into a huge scuffle, throwing mysterious objects into the audience one after another, and at the climax, a huge explosion of feathers! It's a legendary video that allows you to witness the ferocity of the 1960s, when they were young. June 13, 1970: CINCINNATI POP FESTIVAL (2 songs) Next is a professional shot 3 months after the release of "Easy Action". We are starting to see glimpses of the future, such as playing "Black Juju", but it is still exciting. "Black Juju" was so powerful that during the performance, which included hypnotizing people with a pocket watch, something (cake?) was thrown from the audience and crashed into Alice's face. It hits so hard that it makes a “thud!” sound, but Alice doesn’t move at all and continues the show as it is. Perhaps he wasn't sober... but this is another shocking video that you must see. July 4, 1971: Asbury Park performance (7 songs) After signing with major Warner, Alice finally entered a golden age. This video was taken about four months after the release of "Eighteen" and is a black and white professional shot that became very popular at "ASBURY PARK 1971" as "LOVE IT TO DEATH". November 2, 1971: Paris performance (3 songs) The impact of shock rock crosses the ocean and reaches Europe. This is a French TV special reporting on the first European performance that took place three weeks before the release of ``Killer''. Although the live performance is short because it features an interview, the visual beauty with a filmy feel is outstanding even on DISC 2, and you can witness the electric chair performance of "Black Juju" beautifully. September 21, 1972: New York performance (5 songs) The era of the big hit "School's Out" finally arrived. This is a multi-camera professional shot that allows you to witness the stage 3 months after the album's release. It has exploded in popularity on a different level than before, and Alice is massaging it from the beginning. ``Gutter Cat vs. the Jets'', where members fight each other, is unique to the band era, and Alice's hanging finally appears. A promo for the lead single for the next album, ``Alice is the President,'' which was released around this time, is also being broadcast. November 13, 1972: Paris performance (6 songs) Finally, we went back to Paris for the first time in a year. This video exists in color and monochrome versions, but this work is recorded in a monochrome version that is longer and has better image quality. The time counter is also a vivid leaked professional shot. Above is a collection of treasured professional shots consisting of 12 types and 46 takes. In this way, THE ALICE COOPER GROUP reached the peak and reached the legendary "GOOD TO SEE YOU AGAIN". In addition to this, there are many other detailed videos, such as a video from West Germany where the music cannot be heard due to the narration, a Hollywood performance filmed for promotional purposes, and a video from Toronto where an 8mm film was unearthed. Therefore, although this work is not titled "COMPLETE," it is a two-disc set that almost covers the early pro shots that can be enjoyed as a musical product, and can be used alongside these guys who have climbed the ladder of success. Each piece is specially concentrated, making it a total 4-hour video blockbuster. A historical masterpiece that will turn your shelf into a shock rock museum. A definitive collection of the best masters from their debut in 1969 until just before reaching their peak with "Billion Dollar Babies". DISC 1 covers official quality TV performance pro shots, and DISC 2 includes concert pro shots taken in front of the audience.
