The long-awaited, out-of-print official work is back! It will be released in the highest quality version complete with translated subtitles! The true identity of this work is Alice Cooper's first documentary work "PRIME CUTS: THE ALICE COOPER STORY", released in October 1991. This is a DVD from the Japanese laser disc version. Reprinted DVD from laser disc complete with Japanese subtitles In modern times, when it comes to Alice's documentary, the movie "SUPER DUPER ALICE COOPER" is also known, but this work is something completely different. It is a home video released with the release of the masterpiece "HEY STOOPID" from the metal era. At that time, video works following live / PV collections were being sought, and various bands / artists started history works looking back on their history. This work is the Alice edition. It contains plenty of early treasured footage that was not available at the time, and Alice herself as well as key people such as Shep Gordon and Bob Ezrin appear. It is a masterpiece that sheds light on Alice's history, which was not well known in Japan. In 2001, PRIME CUTS was officially released on DVD, but unfortunately it was only available in Europe, the US, and Australia, and not in Japan. The imported version did not have subtitles, so it was difficult to understand the many comments that are the lifeblood of a documentary. So, this is the work. It is a Japanese laser disc released in 1991, so it is fully equipped with Japanese subtitles and is of the highest quality. This work allows you to intuitively understand the many valuable comments from that time. A masterpiece documentary completely different from the movie "SUPER DUPER" Even though it has subtitles, there is now a movie called "SUPER DUPER" that was made with a generous budget and video technology. Now you might think that "PRIME CUTS" is no longer needed... but that is not the case. In fact, "SUPER DUPER" was made with an emphasis on his band days from his early childhood, and after he went solo, it was all about his private life, such as marriage and alcoholism. Moreover, the movie itself ended when he teamed up with Kane Roberts in 1986. In contrast, this work skips over her childhood and debut years, starting with her breakthrough with "LOVE IT TO DEATH" and covering everything from 1991's "HEY STOOPID". It's truly focused on the "delicious era". And it's great that the story is centered on music. It's nice to feel "Alice the human" in the thick episodes of her childhood and her wife, as in "SUPER DUPER", but the focus of this work is "Alice the musician" and "Alice the performer". By revealing the aims and environment of each era, you can enjoy the albums even more. There is plenty of metal era, which is now precious In fact, not only "WELCOME TO MY NIGHTMARE" and "FROM THE INSIDE" but also the adventurous "FLUSH THE FASHION" appears in the early solo work, and there is plenty of metal era, which was completely ignored in "SUPER DUPER". Muscle guitarist Kane Roberts and Kip Winger, whose band WINGER was a huge success at the time, are also featured prominently, and interesting anecdotes are proudly shown. Of course, the big comeback album "TRASH" and the latest album at the time, "HEY STOOPID," also appear. Slash is also a special guest here. Not only does he enthusiastically talk about his love for Alice with "WELCOME TO MY NIGHTMARE" in one hand, but he also appears in the recording of "Hey Stoopid." And the ultimate big name is Ozzy Osbourne. In fact, Ozzy's history video "DON'T BLAME ME" was also produced and released almost at the same time as this work, and Alice appears in it with comments. In other words, Ozzy's "DON'T BLAME ME" and this work are sister works in which the British and American Princes of Darkness make friendship appearances with each other. This is the highest peak version of the official documentary, complete with Japanese subtitles, and contains plenty of footage of the golden 70s and the delicious metal era. The trajectory of the king Alice Cooper's most brilliant era. The phantom out-of-print official work "PRIME CUTS: THE ALICE COOPER STORY" produced/released during the "HEY STOOPID" era has been reprinted on DVD. It has been digitized from the Japanese laser disc, and in addition to being of the highest quality, it also comes with Japanese subtitles that were not included in the official DVD. You can enjoy not only the golden 70s, but also the "Metal Era Alice" that was completely cut from the documentary film "SUPER DUPER ALICE COOPER".
