Graham Bonnet will be coming to Japan again with ALCATRAZZ in March 2017. He also came to Japan with ALCATRAZZ exactly 10 years ago in 2007. A full audience video that vividly brings back memories of that time has been decided to be released. This work was filmed at the "May 31, 2007 SHIBUYA O-EAST performance". At that time, it was a double headliner visit with Joe Lynn Turner, and it was the second day of that. First, let's remember the schedule at that time. ・May 30: SHIBUYA O-EAST ・May 31: SHIBUYA O-EAST [this work] ・June 1: Shinsaibashi Club Quattro ・June 4: ZEPP SAPPORO In this way, this work is the second day of Shibuya 2DAYS. On the first day, Joe Lynn was first, but on the second day, he was replaced and ALCATRAZZ came first. The quality of this work is exquisite visual beauty. To be honest, the sound is a little over-peaked in some places, but the "view" is ultimately wonderful. It is a shot looking down from the second floor seats on the right side of the stage (guitar side), and the heads and arms of the front row are not included, so the stage occupies the field of view, which is an excellent angle. Of course, even though it was 10 years ago, the image quality is super vivid with full digital. On top of that, the skill of the photographer is also wonderful. I think it is freehand, but he chases Graham with minimal camera shake. He also captures the venue where a chorus is happening from a distance, but the bold zoom not only captures the bust but also the facial expression. Moreover, the camera work is also on point, and when Graham moves around, he does not continue to follow him with a zoom, but pulls back, and when he stops, he slowly approaches. The speed is smooth to the end, and it is a skilled work that is definitely conscious of "ease of viewing". The show drawn with that quality is Bonnet Paradise. He played a lot of great songs from RAINBOW, MSG, and solo artists, and then played a string of ALCATRAZZ songs. He didn't play "Ohayo Tokyo" (I wanted to see it!), but he played six songs from "NO PAROLE FROM ROCK 'N' ROLL" and three from "DISTURBING THE PEACE", which was more generous than usual. And when it comes to ALCATRAZZ, the problem is the guitarist. This is also amazing! At the time, Howie Simon was only known at the "Who's that?" level, but when he came to Japan, he showed off his crazy skill by easily handling Yngwie Malmsteen's high-speed passages and Steve Vai's unusual phrases. It all changed to "Who is this guy?". Looking back, both Yngwie and Vai made a big impact when they came to Japan, but the tradition of "ALCATRAZZ coming to Japan" was still alive in 2007. In addition, the members of the rhythm section at this time were all skilled, and even the backing vocals were good. You can enjoy the ensemble that you can't expect in this visit to Japan 10 years later (on the other hand, Graham himself may be better now. Check out "FINLAND 2017" released this week!). Graham Bonnet is coming to Japan again with ALCATRAZZ. The Tokyo performance will be held at "O-EAST", the same venue as this film. I don't think anyone needs to do any preparation at this point, but this is a masterpiece video that will greatly expand your expectations. This is the 21st century version of "ALCATRAZZ + Japan", which has left many legends. Please enjoy it to your heart's content. Live at Shibuya O-EAST, Tokyo, Japan 31st May 2007 1. Intro 2.
