A group led by Brazilian percussion/drum genius and rhythm master Airto, who amazed not only jazz fans around the world but also Miles, Chick and other musicians with his Miles Group, Return to Forever. A rare live performance at the Boston Jazz Workshop on April 24, 1973, in his prime, featuring his wife Flora Purim, was recorded on a high-quality soundboard. The amazing 4/7 time signature and the popular "Tombo" are just too much to handle, this is a wave of Brazilian fusion! Live at Jazz Workshop Boston,MA April.24.1973 1. Xibaba 2. Uri (The Wind) 3.
