The 50th anniversary special project "50 Years Live!: From the Aerosmith Vaults" is shocking collectors all over the world. The superb footage that was only available for one week is now available on DVD. This work records "June 24 + 25, 1977 Houston performance". It is a multi-camera pro shot compiled from two consecutive performances. "50 Years Live!: From the Aerosmith Vaults" is a live archive project held on AEROSMITH's official channel. It will release symbolic pro shots of each era in the history of 50 years. The lineup is a classic for collectors, but what is not familiar is the quality. It is much cleaner than before... or rather, it is a super upgrade of a different dimension that "it does not seem like the same video anymore". After all, it is not a rebroadcast at the time, but a direct transfer from the original master tape, and then HD remastered. The quality is (obviously) completely official. This does not mean that it is "likely to be released officially", but that it is a genuine official video that was created by the genuine official side with a budget and time, and sent out with prestige. However, despite its visual beauty, it was only available for a week. Some people may have missed it, and would like to watch it whenever they want in the future. This work is a DVD version to meet such feelings. So, the quality of this work is the ultimate. However, the content is a little different from a simple upgrade. In order to explain this, let's first look back at the show position from the schedule at that time. 1976 April 16th - May 1st: North America #1a (6 shows) {May 3rd: "ROCKS" released} May 5th - September 13th: North America #1b (58 shows) October 13th - November 1st: Europe #1 (12 shows) November 10th - December 19th: North America #2 (4 shows) ●1977 January 29th - February 9th: First visit to Japan (7 shows) June 21st - July 8th: North America #3 (11 shows) ←★Here★ August 13th - 27th: Europe #2 (7 shows) September 28th - December 8th: North America #4a (19 shows) {December 9th: "DRAW THE LINE" released} December 10th - 27th: North America #4b (6 shows) ←※LARGO 1977 This is AEROSMITH in 1976/1977. In 1977, the two tours "ROCKS Tour" and "DRAW THE LINE Tour" intersected, but the switch was the legendary first visit to Japan. The first visit to Japan was the "ROCKS Tour", and five months later, "North America #3" was the "DRAW THE LINE Tour". The two Houston performances in this work were the third and fourth concerts of "North America #3". Full-scale pro shots were excavated for each of these two performances, but the "From the Aerosmith Vaults" version released this time is an edited work made up of both performances. Moreover, each performance was about 85 minutes, but this time it has been reorganized into about an hour. So which songs were selected? Let's organize them here while comparing them with the full set. Heavy Rock in the Dark (4 songs) Big Ten Inch Record (x) Adam's Apple Sweet Emotion Walk This Way Toys In The Attic Others (9 songs) Fly! Aerosmith: S.O.S. (Too Bad) Lord Of The Thighs Same Old Song And Dance Train Kept A Rollin' (x) Rocks: Rats In The Cellar Lick And A Promise Sick As A Dog Others: Mama Kin Dream On Draw The Line Rattlesnake Shake (x) *Note: The "x" mark indicates a song that was cut in the latest version. ... and so on. Although it is certainly an "incomplete version", only three songs were cut. You can see that there is a considerable number of songs. Speaking of 1977, the pro shots of the Largo performance are also a standard, but it is also nice that "Adam's Apple" and "Sick As A Dog", which cannot be seen there, are firmly left. And what's even more important is the "feel of the work" that the dense highlights are uninterrupted because it's edited. When it comes to live works, the supreme value tends to be placed on a perfect reproduction of the scene, but in fact, it's more important that it's "cool to listen to" and "fun to watch". This 50th anniversary project was not broadcast but distributed, and if they had wanted to do it, they could have made a complete version. Despite that, it's hard to think of any reason to narrow it down other than "the perfection as a musical work", and it's a masterpiece video that has been made with incredible care to back that up. As a fan, I can't deny that I wanted to see the complete version of the show, but the overwhelming beauty of the video and the amazing viewing experience are so amazing that I forgot about it. It's a masterpiece that should be passed down as an eternal masterpiece. It's wrong for such footage to disappear in a week. That's why we released the DVD. AEROSMITH in 1977, which was crazy, dangerous, and incredibly sexy. A superb multi-camera pro shot of the "Houston performance on June 24th + 25th, 1977". This is a DVD version of the super-best version that was released for a limited time of one week in the official 50th anniversary project, and the quality of the original master tape was directly transferred and then remastered in HD, which is completely official. It is a transcendental upgrade that is like a completely different video from the conventional version. Unfortunately, it is three songs less than the full show, but it is an official work that allows you to enjoy the 1977 AEROSMITH that was dangerous and sexy for about an hour.
