The official archive series "50 Years Live!: From the Aerosmith Vaults" has been creating buzz among collectors. "From the Aerosmith Vaults" is a video series on Aerosmith's official channel. This project commemorates the band's 50th anniversary and features the release of iconic performances throughout their long history. This release features the third installment, a multi-camera pro-shot of the band's July 2, 1993, Pittsburgh performance. 1993 was the era of "Get a Grip," which achieved its first US No. 1, even during the band's resurgent Geffen era. Let's start by looking back at the tour, the largest of their career. 1993 {"GET A GRIP" released on April 20th} June 2nd - October 2nd: North America #1 (68 shows) ←★Here★ October 21st - December 8th: Europe (29 shows) December 28th - 31st: North America #2a (3 shows) 1994 January 1st - 23rd: North America #2b / South America #1 (7 shows) ←※RIO DE JANEIRO 1994 January 25th - February 26th: North America #3 (20 shows) ←※TAMPA 1994 April 27th - May 17th: Japan (13 shows) May 21st - July 12th: Europe #2 (30 shows) July 29th - November 10th: North America #4 (46 shows) {November 1st "BIG "ONES" release - November 13th - December 19th: South America #2 / North America #5 (16 shows) ← *BOSTON 1994 This is AEROSMITH from 1993/1994. The "GET A GRIP Tour" is the second longest tour of all time, but it ranks first in terms of the number of shows. It was truly a golden golden age. It was a massive tour at its peak. Its appearance has been archived in masterpieces such as the soundboard masterpieces "TAMPA 1994 STEREO SOUNDBOARD MASTER" and "BOSTON 1994: PRE-FM DAT MASTER" and the pro shot "RIO DE JANEIRO 1994," but this Pittsburgh performance is much earlier than that. It was the 21st performance of "North America #1." The quality of this work, which allows you to witness such a show, is truly "super" and exquisite. Those who have experienced the previous two "From the Aerosmith Vaults" releases, "HOUSTON 1977 (Shades 1580)" and "LANDOVER 1989 (Shades 1583)," will understand: the picture and sound quality are impeccable. Digitalized directly from the official original masters, and mastered by the official studio with a high level of prestige. While the quality can only be described as "fully official," it exceeds expectations. Each "From the Aerosmith Vaults" release is available for a limited time of one week, and this release is already unavailable. It would be unacceptable to let such a masterpiece be lost in obscurity after just seven days. This DVD release allows those who missed out on the experience, as well as those who have already seen it, to enjoy it over and over again. This flawless quality portrays the band's rise to the pinnacle of Geffen's golden era. Although this is the same tour as the aforementioned "RIO DE JANEIRO 1994," the time period and set are different. Let's compare and organize the sets. 70s (5 songs): Nighttime Heavy Rock: Walk This Way/Sweet Emotion; Rocks: Back In The Saddle (★)/Last Child (★); Draw The Line: Draw The Line (★); Geffen Era (8 songs): Permanent Vacation: Rag Doll/Dude (Looks Like A Lady); Pump: What It Takes/Monkey On My Back/Janie's Got A Gun; Get A Grip: Eat The Rich/Cryin'/Livin' On The Edge. *Note: * indicates songs not featured on "RIO DE JANEIRO 1994." ...and so on. Like the previous "From the Aerosmith Vaults" series, this isn't a complete recording of the show, but it's still a generous 72 minutes long. Perhaps because it was the early part of the tour, the selection included a generous number of '70s classics, balancing them well with Geffen-era hits. And best of all, the culmination of the set, beginning with "Eat the Rich" and including "Monkey on My Back," exudes a "GET A GRIP Tour" feel. The performance that punctuates this set is also incredibly cool. After 20 shows, the ensemble is fully developed and in full swing, yet still showing no signs of slacking, even in the early stages. While enjoying the brilliance of their heyday, they rumble with the energy of working mid-40s. Despite being at the height of their career, the "GET A GRIP Tour" was only officially covered in a mixed-release live album, "A LITTLE SOUTH OF SANITY." This stunning, multi-camera, professional-shot video captures the tour in stunning detail. AEROSMITH, the longest-running and most successful band in rock history, boasts a stellar track record. This multi-camera pro-shot recording of the July 2, 1993 Pittsburgh performance is the third installment of the 50th anniversary "From the Aerosmith Vaults" project, and the quality of the original master, polished by official mastering, is the ultimate. This official video allows you to witness the career-high "GET A GRIP Tour," featuring delicious tracks like "Eat the Rich" and "Monkey On My Back."
