AEROSMITH announced itself to the world in 1973 with "Birth of the Beast." Introducing the legendary soundboard upgrade master, which will deliver the dawn of live performances to your brain! This is a superb studio live album from their debut era. This work is engraved with the "September 26, 1973 Cheviot Performance." It's a stereo soundboard recording. Speaking of 1973 soundboards, the classic "BOSTON 1973," known as the "oldest live recording," also reigns supreme, but of course, this work is a different performance. To clarify the situation, let's first take a bird's-eye view of their activities at the time. 1973 January 4th: Boston performances (January 5th, "Birth of the Beast" released) January 19th - May 5th: North America #1 (23 performances) ← *BOSTON 1973 June 24th: Boston performance July 28th - December 15th: North America #2 (49 performances) ←★Here★ (December 17th, production of "GET YOUR WINGS" began) 1974 January 7th: Detroit performances (January 14th, "GET YOUR WINGS" completed) January 26th - March 16th: North America #3 (11 performances) (March 15th, "GET YOUR WINGS" released) March 24th - December 15th: North America #4 (108 performances) ←*DETROIT 1974 and others This is AEROSMITH in 1973/1974. Their overseas expansion only came in 1976, so at this point, they were limited to North America. While "BOSTON 1973" was their "North America #1" album, released immediately after their album debut, this Cheviot performance was the 14th performance of "North America #2," about six months later. This performance was a live studio recording on local station "WKRQ FM," and was broadcast on radio (with DJ talk every few songs). It's also a staple that has produced numerous previously released releases. This album also uses the same DM soundboard, but with an upgraded master that pushes the envelope to the highest level. It's a pre-FM master provided by an overseas researcher. The master sound has been reborn into something completely different, and the sound is an upgrade that's "almost something else." The somewhat forceful vividness is the same, as it originated from the recording, but the freshness and clarity are unmatched. The muffled roundness is quickly wiped away, and the long tones are beautifully straight and distortion-free. The delicate details, down to the vibration level of guitar strings and drum skins, are incredibly vivid, and the separation unique to a soundboard is incredible. The master freshness is comparable to that of the classic "BOSTON 1973," and those who already own the album will likely be amazed by the upgrade. This master sound depicts the extremely rare live performance from 1973. As mentioned above, this was the period when the production of the next album, "Fly! Aerosmith," was imminent, and it differs from "BOSTON 1973." Let's organize the album by comparing it here. Beast's Birth (7 songs): Make It / Somebody / Write Me A Letter / Dream On (★) / One Way Street / Walkin' The Dog / Mama Kin Others (3 songs): Fly! Aerosmith: Pandora's Box (★) / Train Kept A Rollin' Others: Rattlesnake Shake (★) *Note: "★" indicates songs not heard on the classic album "BOSTON 1973." This is the legendary soundboard that has been passed down from the debut era along with "BOSTON 1973." This is the highest peak update. An exquisite master sound CD that only a researcher could know. A stereo soundboard recording of the "Cheviot Performance on September 26, 1973." This is a pre-FM master provided by an overseas researcher, and the sound is an upgrade of the "almost something else" level. The freshness and clarity are unmatched. The muffled roundness is quickly wiped away, and the long tones are beautifully extended straight without distortion. "Fly! This is the ultimate updated album that will let you hear the live performance just before the production of "Aerosmith" flow into your brain.
