AEROSMITH in 1974, who sent out "GET YOUR WINGS" and solidified their support as the flag-bearers of a new generation. Two soundboard albums that imprint such early live performances on the brain have been decided to be released simultaneously. This work is the second part of such a series. It is a stereo soundboard recording of "Rosslyn performance on July 2, 1974". In the commentary of "DETROIT 1974: WABX FM MASTER", which will be released at the same time, we looked at the two years since their debut in total, but here we will narrow it down to "1974" and check the positional relationship of the two series. 1974, January 7: Detroit performance {"GET YOUR WINGS" completed on January 14} ・January 26-March 16: US #1 (11 performances) {"GET YOUR WINGS" released on March 15} ・March 24-27: US #2 (3 performances) ・April 5-June 9: US #3 (29 performances) ←※DETROIT 1974, June 19-22: US #4 (3 performances) ・July 2-December 15: US #5 (73 performances) ←★Here★ This is AEROSMITH in the "GET YOUR WINGS" era. They didn't make it overseas until 1976 with "ROCKS," and at the time their territory was limited to North America. The simultaneous release of "DETROIT 1974: WABX FM MASTER" was about three weeks after the album's release, but the Rosslyn performance of this work was the first day of "US #5", which was three months ahead. Such shows were broadcast on the East Coast radio station "WLIR-FM" and have produced a long history of existing groups. This work is the highest peak update master of such a classic sound board. Like "DETROIT 1974: WABX FM MASTER", it is the highest peak update master brought by overseas researchers, and its freshness seems to peel off from the ears. In the first place, it is about 3 minutes (!) longer than the conventional master, but what is more striking is the sound that runs through the whole story. Until now, even in good condition, it was undeniable that there was a worn vintage feeling that was caused by the bootleg of the LP era, but the new master is different in density and freshness. Although it still has the analog feel of a 70s broadcast, the tone does not feel aged or dubbed, and even the fine details are beautifully preserved. Such a top-of-the-line updated sound depicts rare songs unique to the early days and a performance that kicks off youth. Although it is longer than usual, at about 47 minutes, there are some repertoires that cannot be heard on "DETROIT 1974: WABX FM MASTER". Let's organize them here by comparing them. Beast's Birth (3 songs) Write Me A Letter / Dream On / Walkin' The Dog Fly! Aerosmith (5 songs) S.O.S. (Too Bad) (★) / Lord Of The Thighs / Same Old Song & Dance / Woman Of The World / Train Kept A Rollin' (Slow/Fast) *Note: The "★" mark indicates a song that cannot be heard on "DETROIT 1974: WABX FM MASTER". ...And so on. In "DETROIT 1974: WABX FM MASTER," the albums were selected almost half from the two albums, but this work puts a strong emphasis on "GET YOUR WINGS." Not only "S.O.S. (Too Bad)," but also "Write Me A Letter," "Woman Of The World," and "Train Kept A Rollin'," which switches between slow and fast with a drum solo, are live performances unique to that time that are poured into your brain. AEROSMITH before "Walk This Way," "Sweet Emotion," and "Toys in the Attic" were released. This is an immersive soundboard album where such early live performances unfold in your brain. This is a newly excavated master CD that is the longest and highest peak that researchers could know. Stereo soundboard recording of the "Rosslyn performance on July 2, 1974." This is the highest peak updated master brought by overseas researchers, and not only is it about 3 minutes longer than the conventional master, but the sound that runs through the entire work is also different and fresh. Although it has the analog feel of a 1970s broadcast, the tone has no signs of aging or dubbing, and the details are beautifully preserved.
