Ace Frehley's final solo visit to Japan in 2018. This is the first appearance of the superb original recording that conveys the scene. This work is recorded as "September 5, 2018: Tokyo (2nd show) performance." This is the superb audience recording. The 2018 Japan tour was a condensed schedule of 8 performances, with 2 performances per day in Tokyo and Osaka only. The symbol of this was "JAPAN TOUR 2018," but this work is a completely different performance. First, let's check the relative positions of each in light of the schedule for Japan at that time. September 3 (Tokyo 1st) September 3 (Tokyo 2nd) * September 4 (Tokyo 1st) "JAPAN TOUR 2018" September 4 (Tokyo 2nd) September 5 (Tokyo 1st * September 5 (Tokyo 2nd) ← ★ This work ★ * September 6 (Osaka 1st) "JAPAN TOUR A total of eight performances, starting with "2018" and September 6th (2nd in Osaka). The album was recorded at the "2nd show on the 3rd day in Tokyo" consisting of "3 days in Tokyo (6 shows) + 1 day in Osaka (2 shows)". In other words, it was Ace's last Tokyo performance of his life. This work, which vacuum-packs such a memorable scene, produces a superb sound that is clear and filled with a closed-room feeling. The tone is very much like an audience, but perhaps due to the characteristics of the venue, the sense of closeness is wonderful. The core of the sound reaches you before the hall resonance spreads, and the live performance presses forward. The details are sung into your ears with a vivid sense of separation. The realistic presence that is unique to audience recordings, "Ace is right there," and ease of listening are beautifully harmonized. In fact, the previous album, "JAPAN TOUR "JAPAN TOUR 2018" was so amazing that I thought a third performance might be difficult, but this album is no less impressive. Ace's final Tokyo night is depicted with such vivid and realistic on-site sound. Perhaps because it was the first show, the set is a style that omitted "Rocket Ride" from "JAPAN TOUR 2018." Finally, let's recap. Solo (4 songs), 1978 album: Rip It Out/New York Groove, Others: Rock Soldiers/Emerald, KISS (9 songs), Emissary from Hell: Cold Gin/Deuce, Cry from Hell: Parasite/Strange Ways, Hell's Legion: Detroit Rock City, Love Gun: Love Gun/Shock Me, Escape from Hell: Hard Times/2,000 Man... and so on. "Emerald" from the latest album "ORIGINS VOL. 1" and FREHLEY'S COMET's "Rock While also performing "Soldiers," the rest of the set was a parade of glorious '70s hits. This was Ace Frehley's first performance in Japan in 17 years since KISS's "The Farewell Tour" and his first solo performance in 25 years. This vacuum-packed recording of what turned out to be his final Tokyo performance is being released for the first time in Japan. It's a cultural heritage piece that allows you to experience a memorable full show in the privacy of a club. This is a superb audience recording of the "September 5, 2018: Tokyo (2nd Show) Performance." This original master recording, released for the first time in Japan, delivers a superb sound with a clear, intimate feel. The intimacy of the club-sized performance is superb, and the live performance looms forward. This masterful recording perfectly blends the unique "Ace is right there" feeling of being there with ease of listening, allowing you to fully experience Ace's final Tokyo performance before his death.
