This film was filmed at the Solothurn performance on September 26, 1981 (Switzerland). This is a one-camera professional shot. At that time, ACCEPT released "BREAKER" in response to NWOBHM, and their presence was rapidly increasing. Their live performances, which had been one-off until then, developed into tours, and they expanded their scope from West Germany to other countries. To give you an idea of what it was like, let's take a look at the schedule at the time. [“BREAKER” released on March 16th]・April 18th-May 9th: Europe #1 (10 performances)・June 13th-20th: West Germany (4 performances)・September 5th-26th : Europe #2 (3 performances) ←★Coco★・November 6-24: UK (18 performances)・November 27-December 15: Europe #3 (17 performances) This is ACCEPT in 1981. Their first tour was "Europe #1" in the Netherlands, followed by "Europe #3" and "UK". The Solothurn performance of this work was a showcase gig held between these three mini-tours, and was also the first Swiss performance. This work, where you can witness such a show, is a one-camera professional shot that seems to have been taken by the people involved. It is captured from a distance from the back of the venue, but what is different from the ordinary audience shots is the solid sense of stability and the overwhelming view. After all, it completely passes straight over the heads of the audience in the arena, giving a direct view of the entire stage with no obstructions. From there, you zoom in on the highlight, and the way you approach it is completely free of camera shake and you follow it leisurely and without any rush. There's not even the slightest hint of the excitement that would be expected from a fan, and it must have been taken for material or sales purposes... It's a super stable shot that makes me believe that. Furthermore, not only the shooting but also the master freshness is tremendous. Every corner of the screen is glossy and beautiful, with no distortion or wobbling. It is a pearl-like visual beauty that was probably digitized directly from the original master on the scene. What is depicted in such beautiful visuals is the brave appearance of ACCEPT, whose performance and set can only be seen in the very early stages. First of all, this is a set of extremely rare songs. Let's sort things out a bit. Classics (5 songs) - Chainsaw of Murder: Free Me Now (★) / Sounds of War (★) - I'm a Rebel: Thunder and Lightning (★) / Do It (★) / I'm a Rebel (★ ) Breaker: Horror Code (6 songs)/Starlight (★)/Breaker/Run If You Can (★)/Son of a Bitch/Midnight Highway (★)/Burning *Note: "★" marks indicate official live album " A song that can't be heard even on "STAYING A LIFE". ...and it looks like this. At a glance, you can see how many rare songs there are by seeing all the "★" marks. And the performance that spells out such a set is also fiercely aggressive. He still lacks the dignity and weight of his heyday, and is left to his youth to run wild. His youth is not only about strength, but also about innocence. In particular, the twin guitars form a formation that doesn't hide their admiration for JUDAS PRIEST (almost an imitation), and here and there they throw out phrases and improvisations that make you say, "I love Ritchie Blackmore!" . And the highlight is the last song, “Burning.” It's interesting to start off by pushing down the excited fans on stage, but at the end Stefan Kaufman ignites his drum stick. It literally captivates with a ``burning performance'' and even sets Wolf's guitar on fire. The footage of ACCEPT in the 1980s is valuable, but this work is one of the best among them. In 1981, he was full of admiration and went to the extreme, and in 1984, he established his individuality and was burning with ambition.
