The fateful “RUSSIAN ROULETTE Tour” concluded the golden era with founder Udo Dirkschneider. A rare video that allows you to witness the scene has been decided to be released. This work was filmed at “Detroit Performance on June 26, 1986”. This is the spectacular audience shot. At that time, their popularity in Japan was at its peak, and their second performance in Japan was memorable. Excluding a few small shows, the flow was roughly "Spring = Europe / Summer = North America / Autumn = Japan." Among them, the Detroit performance of this work was the 13th concert in the middle of the “North American” leg. This film, which was shot at such a location, has a spectacular view but also a slightly unusual character. To put it bluntly, it's a treasure simply because it's a moving ACCEPT from the 1980s, and to be honest, this work can't be called ``excellent'' in terms of image quality either. This is the type of video where you can't see the members' expressions even at maximum zoom. However, what more than makes up for this is the spectacular scenery and active camera work. After all, it passed directly over the heads of the audience in the arena seats on the first floor and looked directly at the stage. ACCEPT occupies the entire field of view with zero obstructions. It's probably from the 2nd floor stand seats, but the view from the same height as the members makes it seem like a camera was used to set up the venue...it's such a spectacular view. And then there's the zoom that brings you even closer to the highlights. The camera work, which repeats zooming in and out as sharply as the members' movements, is so active that you forget it's a one-shot camera, and it has a sense of staying up close without swinging from side to side, pulling back once and forcing you to aim and shoot. Really sharp. What's more, since it appears to be using a tripod, it is extremely stable with no camera shake even when shooting extremely close up. Even more surprising and annoying is the audio. Actually, this video has been known for its poor sound for a long time, but in this work, an overseas enthusiast has covered it with another superb recording. The clearness and direct feeling are so wonderful that you would think it was an FM broadcast, but the problem is that it is a different performance. At first glance, it looks like it's right, but if you pay attention to the movements in your hands and the timing at which you point the microphone, it doesn't seem to be right at all (bitter smile). In particular, the length between songs is completely different, so the original audio can be heard here and there. The official video "STAYING A LIFE" also covered the performance scenes from overseas performances with Osaka audio, but this work feels like an audience version of that. That said, I am grateful just to be able to listen to “RUSSIAN ROULETTE Tour” with the best sound. The taste is definitely a set. It's a concentrated reduction of the three great albums, but the delicious ones are the numbers that can't be seen even in "STAYING A LIFE". In particular, "Heaven Is Hell" was not played even at the later reunion, and is an extremely rare song that has only been recorded once on "LIVE FROM RUSSIA" by U.D.O. You can enjoy it with the live performance of Golden Age ACCEPT. And the performance that weaves such a live performance is also vivid because there is a “spectacle”. Rob Halford is fully exposed in Udo's action, and Wolf & Jorg are also busy with their formations, and their bold zooms come close to them. As mentioned above, you can't see their facial expressions, and if you look closely, they don't match the sound. Partly because of this, the video gives you a strange feeling, as if you were watching JUDAS PRIEST while playing ACCEPT. ACCEPT lets go of Udo while running up the stairs at its peak.
