“STIFF UPPER LIP TOUR 2000-2001” has vivid memories of the first performance in Japan in 19 years. This is a special tour for us Japanese people, but the best stereo sound board album is now available. “STIFF UPPER LIP TOUR” toured the world for a full year from August 2000 to July 2001, but this work was recorded at the beginning of the “September 13, 2000 Phoenix performance. ”. This live show was broadcast on the radio to promote the tour that had just begun at the time. Therefore, the sound quality is perfect, ironclad, and flawless. There are a few DJ comments between the songs (they don't cover the performance), but other than that, it's an "official soundboard" with no questions asked. When you hear the words “official grade”, what comes to mind is the genuine official video “STIFF UPPER LIP LIVE”? You might think it's for collectors since it still contains such masterpieces, but that's not the case. This work has a different set list only at the beginning of the tour. Unlike the official video that starts with "Stiff Upper Lip" from the opening, the atmosphere is quite different with "You Shook Me All Night Long", but the new song is more than that. The three major singles of “STIFF UPPER LIP” “Stiff Upper Lip”, “Safe In New York City” and “Meltdown” will all be played. Actually, this is a surprisingly big point. Since ``THE RAZORS EDGE,'' AC/DC has left official footage on every tour, and most live versions of new songs can be experienced with official sound. However, among them, “STIFF UPPER LIP” is an exception and only one song “Stiff Upper Lip” remains officially. Moreover, after ``BALLBREAKER'', ``big classics + new songs'' became the norm, and new songs were only used for that tour and no longer carried over. ``Safe In New York City'' has the urgency of ``Let There Be Rock,'' and ``Meltdown'' is a rock'n' roll song with a rich groove that rolls comfortably. All of them are masterpieces that are as good as the classics, but it is a valuable stereo sound board that allows you to listen to the live versions abandoned by the official with official quality sound. At the end of the live program, the B-side song "Cyberspace" from the single "SAFE IN NEW YORK CITY" was also broadcast. This is another super famous up-tempo song. It probably didn't suit the mid-tempo music of "STIFF UPPER LIP," but it's not only a waste for the B-side of the single, but it's a great song that would have been No. 1 if it had been included on the album. It is now included in the box ``BACKTRACKS'', but this is not a copy of it but a part of the broadcast. A live performance with official quality sound, including songs not included in the album. A masterpiece that allows you to enjoy the finest sound sources from the "STIFF UPPER LIP" era that cannot be heard on albums. Live at America West Arena, Phoenix, AZ.
