YES's Japan tour, which was realized for the first time in three years, celebrated the 50th anniversary of the masterpiece "Crisis". It has been decided that all the latest original recordings will be released together! This Japan tour was a total of five performances, and this work is the second of the five consecutive works. This is a masterpiece audience recording of the "September 6, 2022: Orchard Hall" performance. Five were released at the same time, and there were three performances at Orchard Hall. Let's organize the positions of each show by date. * September 5th "TOKYO 2022 1ST NIGHT" * September 6th: Orchard Hall ←★ This work ★ ・ September 8th "OSAKA 2022" ・ September 9th "NAGOYA 20222" * September 12th "TOKYO 2022 FINAL NIGHT" * Note: The "*" mark is the collection of the same recorder as this work. All five performances. At Orchard Hall, a total of three performances were held, "two at the beginning + one at the end", and this work was a two-day live album following the simultaneous release of "TOKYO 2022 1ST NIGHT". This work is not just that. In fact, the recorder is the same as "1ST NIGHT" and "FINAL NIGHT". It is a genuine sister work by the same venue, the same equipment, and the same recorder. There are only three of them, and the sound tendency is also very similar. While the hall sound draws a symphonic heavy feeling, the core that penetrates the center is extremely thick. While it has a dynamism that is clearly different from the sound board, it does not have a sense of distance, and it also has a strong on-line strength and fine details. However, that is just a tendency. As expected, it seems that the recording position was not the same, and this work has an even richer sound. Of course, if the details become muddy as a result, there is no point, but it is wonderful because the thickness of the sound is enhanced to the rushing force of the core. You can immerse your whole body in symphonic rock with an even richer sense of melody and harmony pouring down. Such a rich sound depicts a full show that is a little different from the first day. In the explanation of the previous day's work "1ST NIGHT", I compared it with the previous visit to Japan, so here I will organize the set as usual. "Crisis" Complete reproduction ・ Close To The Edge / And You And I / Siberian Khatru Others ・ Third album: Yours Is No Disgrace / Clap (★) / Starship Trooper ・ Fragile: Heart Of The Sunrise / Roundabout ・ Others: Wonderous Stories / On The Silent Wings Of Freedom / Does It Really Happen? / The Ice Bridge *Note: "★" marks are songs that cannot be heard on the previous day's work "TOKYO 2022 1ST NIGHT". ... and so on. In the previous visit (2019), the set was changed significantly depending on the day, but this time it was roughly similar except for the final day. However, it is not completely identical, and Steve Howe's solo time has changed. On the first day, they played "To Be Over" from "Relayer" as an acoustic guitar instrumental, but on the second day, it was the familiar "Clap". And this "Clap" is also a point, which makes this work the best partner for the final day "TOKYO 2022 FINAL NIGHT". On this visit to Japan, they are doing songs that are not available at other performances in a special set only on the final day, but instead, the two songs that are missing are "Clap" and "Heart Of The Sunrise". This work has these two songs, and by combining it with "FINAL NIGHT", you can suppress the entire repertoire this time. Moreover, this work and "FINAL NIGHT" are sister works made at the same venue, the same equipment, and the same recording artist. The sound is also very similar, and it is the shortest best pair that allows you to complete all the songs with a sense of unity. This time, all the performances in Japan were released at once, but especially the three Tokyo performances were three sister works made at the same venue, the same equipment, and the same recording artist. Although each one is an excellent live album, by making it into a set of three, you can enjoy the entire three performances at the same venue with a sense of unity. Three beautiful sisters who can enjoy the unique pleasure of such audience recording. A masterpiece audience recording of the performance of "Orchard Hall on September 6, 2022". A sister work of "TOKYO 2022 1ST NIGHT" and the same recording artist collection, the hall sound depicts a symphonic heavy feeling, while the core that penetrates the center is extremely thick. It is a masterpiece recording that combines on-power and fine detail. In addition to the complete reproduction of the great masterpiece "Crisis", you can also enjoy a delicious full show of "On the Silent Wings of Freedom" and the new song "The Ice Bridge", which will be released for the first time in Japan.
