YES's first visit to Japan in three years, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the masterpiece "Crisis". It has been decided that all the latest original recordings will be released together! This Japan tour was a total of five performances, and this work is the first of the five consecutive works. This is a masterpiece audience recording of the "September 5, 2022: Orchard Hall" performance. After all, it's all performances at once, so let's organize each position in light of the schedule so that there is no confusion. * September 5: Orchard Hall ← ★ This work ★ * September 6 "TOKYO 2022 2ND NIGHT" September 8 "OSAKA 2022" September 9 "NAGOYA 20222" * September 12 "TOKYO 2022 FINAL NIGHT" * Note: The "*" mark is the collection of the same recorder as this work. All five performances. I never thought that a simultaneous release would be possible, but this work is a full live album that completely records the first day, which is Lee's best. And the quality is also excellent. It is an original recording of this work only given to me by the recordist himself, but the taper is not ordinary. He is a modern master who has recorded many performances in Japan in recent years, and has worked on many famous albums. Recently, there have been no new works due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but with the recovery of the scene, he has provided us with a famous recording again. In fact, the sound that flows from this work is vivid with a strong core without a sense of distance. It also absorbs the hall sound, so it can't be mistaken for a sound board, but in the case of this work, even that is a beauty. The sound that resonates throughout the venue enhances the symphonic beauty and dynamism, and the sense of space where the beautiful melody falls creates a majesty like a church organ. Of course, there is no point in clouding the details due to the sound, but this work is a famous recording because there is no need to worry about that. The outline of the core that runs through the center of the sound is clear, and you can fully inhale the sound world that is characteristic of YES, which is both tolerant and forward-thrusting. This beautiful symphonic sound depicts a full show centered on a perfect reproduction of the masterpiece "Crisis". The band also reproduced "Crisis" last time (2019), but of course the set was different. Let's introduce it while comparing it with three years ago. First half (DISC 1) Regular concert set Songs played at the "Crisis" reproduction night last time (2019): Yours Is No Disgrace Songs played in other sets last time (2019): Does It Really Happen? / Heart Of The Sunrise Songs not played last time (2019): On The Silent Wings Of Freedom / To Be Over (Howe's solo) / Wonderous Stories / The Ice Bridge This visit to Japan is roughly divided into two parts, just like the last time. The first half was a "best selection set" like a normal concert, and the second half was "album reproduction + encore". And the selection in the first half was very different from three years ago. At our shop, the masterpiece of "Crisis" reproduction night "TOKYO 2019 1ST NIGHT" from the last visit to Japan is a standard, but the only song that overlaps with the "best selection" part is "Yours Is No Disgrace". The rest is a complete change, and they will also show off the new song "The Ice Bridge" from "THE QUEST" and "On The Silent Wings Of Freedom", which will be released in Japan for the first time. The second half (DISC 2) "Crisis" reproduction set + encore, all songs from "Crisis" + "Roundabout" and "Starship Trooper", and the second half is the long-awaited complete reproduction of "Crisis". Including the two songs in the encore, this is only the standard that was played in the last visit to Japan. There is nothing new, but in the first place, "album reproduction live" is not something that seeks freshness, but rather, you can enjoy the pleasure of being bathed in only super-killer songs for more than an hour to your heart's content. YES has overcome the COVID-19 pandemic and delivered a completely reproduced live performance to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the masterpiece "Crisis". This is a new masterpiece that allows you to fully experience the first day with exquisite sound. A masterpiece audience recording of the performance at "Orchard Hall on September 5, 2022". A sister work of "TOKYO 2022 2ND NIGHT" and the same recording artist collection, the powerful core is vivid without any sense of distance. The hall sound also enhances the symphonic beauty and dynamism, and it is a majestic beautiful recording like a church organ. While focusing on the complete reproduction of the masterpiece "Crisis", you can fully experience the latest show where Howe's solo time will also feature the precious "To Be Over".
