The 8mm footage of the Yes performance at Shibuya Public Hall in Tokyo on March 9, 1973, which appears to have been shot from quite far forward, was recorded directly from the master film. The original was a silent video shot in small chunks of a few seconds to a few tens of seconds, and the live sound source from that day (discs 3 and 4 of "CLOSE TO THE EAST") was overlaid on top of it. It was shot from the right side of the front of the stage (second row?), and the image quality is surprisingly good, and it is of a level of quality that would not be surprising if it were included in an official Yes video anthology in the future. Perhaps because it was in such good condition, there is almost no discoloration or film deterioration, and the beauty of the color will greatly impress fans around the world. The movements are recorded a little early, so the members' movements feel a little strange, but even if you are not a maniac, you will be moved and stare at the live footage of Yes's Tokyo performance in 1973 for the first time, wondering "Was there such a thing in the world?"
