YES's first visit to Japan in three years, celebrating the 50th anniversary of their masterpiece "Crisis". It has been decided that all the latest original recordings will be released together! This Japan tour consisted of five performances, and this work is the third of the five consecutive works. This is the best audience recording of the "September 8, 2022: NHK Osaka Hall" performance. This time, five works with all performances released at once will be released in a concentrated manner. First, let's check the position of each live album on the schedule. September 5th "TOKYO 2022 1ST NIGHT" September 6th "TOKYO 2022 2ND NIGHT" * September 8th: NHK Osaka Hall ←★ This work ★ * September 9th "NAGOYA 20222" September 12th "TOKYO 2022 FINAL NIGHT" * Note: The "*" mark is the collection of the same recorder as this work. All five performances. As you can see, all three Tokyo performances were at the Orchard Hall, arranged as the opening and final performances of the visit to Japan. In between, Osaka and Nagoya performances were held. The two West Japan performances will also be released at the same time, but in fact these two works are sister works by simultaneous recording artists. And that taper is the familiar "West Japan's Strongest Taper" of our store. If you have noticed this article, you may have experienced some of Mr. Strongest's works, but these two works are also superb recordings that do not soil the gold signboard... no, they shine even more. In fact, the sound of this work is "just like a sound board". Although it is a common phrase for Mr. Strongest's work, there is no other way to express it. The core is extremely thick and has zero distance, the fine details, the splendid sense of separation, the steep contours, and the surrounding atmosphere that is quiet and silent... It seems that new equipment was introduced in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, but perhaps because of that, the direct feeling of a sound board is more amazing than ever before. The five works released simultaneously this time are all masterpieces that are no less impressive, and considering the quality of each song, it is hard to say that they are the best. However, if you want a sound that is suitable for a "soundboard replacement" or "official replacement", this work is the best. And the superb sound depicts a full show centered on a complete reproduction of the great masterpiece "Crisis". The final day of the additional performance, "TOKYO 2022 FINAL NIGHT", was a special set, but the basics of the other four performances were the same. Only one place changed daily. Let's organize the set here. Complete reproduction of "Crisis" Close To The Edge / And You And I / Siberian Khatru Others Third album: Yours Is No Disgrace / Starship Trooper Fragile: Heart Of The Sunrise / Roundabout Others: To Be Over (★: Howe's solo) / Wonderous Stories / On The Silent Wings Of Freedom / Does It Really Happen? / The Ice Bridge *Note: The "★" mark is a different song each day. ...And so it goes like this. The different songs each day were "To Be Over (Tokyo first day, this work, Tokyo last day)" and "Clap (Tokyo second day, Nagoya)" during Steve Howe's solo time. Of course, the precious one is "To Be Over". He has occasionally featured it in his solo time since the "FULL CIRCLE Tour" in 2003, but this tour is his first in Japan. Moreover, it is his first comeback in 11 years. Another song that is intensely fresh is "On The Silent Wings Of Freedom". This is the opening of the tour overseas, but this is the first time it has been performed in 35 years. Of course, this is the first time it will be performed in Japan. Anyway, it is a live album with wonderful sound. While it is a soundboard-class listening experience, the natural ensemble's sense of balance and the (faint) downpour that can only be achieved on the spot are a beauty that cannot be found on the line. This is the masterpiece (in terms of sound) of this five-part series. A two-disc set where you can enjoy the latest YES's "Crisis" reproduction live with such beautiful dynamic sound. The best audience recording of the performance "September 8, 2022: NHK Osaka Hall". This is the latest recording by the master "Western Japan's Strongest Taper", with a thick core with zero distance, fine details, a magnificent sense of separation, a steep outline, and a quiet and silent atmosphere around it... It is a powerful recording that can only be described as "like a soundboard". You can fully experience precious songs such as the complete reproduction of "Crisis", the rare "On the Silent Wings of Freedom", Howe's solo version of "To Be Over", etc. with the superb sound of the barefoot soundboard.
