This film was shot at the Moscow concert on November 16, 1997. It shows the band's performance in Russia, which was part of their farewell tour, "THE LAST HURRAH TOUR." The "THE LAST HURRAH TOUR" is remembered for starting with a large-scale concert in Japan, but what happened after that is surprisingly unknown. This is a good opportunity to summarize the details.・September 12-27, 1997: Japan Tour (11 shows) ・October 3-11, 1997: UK Tour #1 (7 shows) ・October 13-November 9, 1997: European Tour (19 shows) ・November 11-23, 1997: Eastern Europe Tour (9 shows) ←★Here★ ・November 26-December 1, 1997: UK Tour #2 (5 shows) ・December 6-13, 1997: South America Tour (4 shows) The above is an overview of the farewell tour (at the time). The scale of the 11 shows in Japan alone is amazing, but looking at the whole thing, it was a small 55 shows. It was also a rare tour that did not include North America, which was supposed to be a major voting area after the transfer to Geffen. Among them, this work is the 5th show of the "Eastern Europe Tour". Overall, this was the 42nd performance, and it was a show at a time when the two letters "disbandment" finally became a reality. This work, which contains such a Moscow performance, is a multi-camera pro shot that is the best of the best. "THE LAST HURRAH TOUR" is blessed with long pro shots, and "November 21 Sofia performance (Bulgaria)" and "December 13 Buenos Aires performance (Argentina)" are also famous. Together with this work, it is called "the three major pro shots of 1997", but the quality of this work is outstanding. At first, there was a TV broadcast with incomplete and poor image quality, but the complete version that appeared later was also perfect in quality. The camera work, stereo sound board sound, vivid coloring, and beautiful freshness ... everything is of the official class without question. It is a transcendental image beauty that is not inferior to "STARKERS IN TOKYO", which reproduced the genuine official work (incidentally, this work is the best in all points, from Coverdale to the condition of the equipment). The quality of "THE LAST HURRAH TOUR" allows you to fully enjoy the "White Snake only here" that is different from any other tour. Since their big break in 1987, White Snake's shows have been heavy metal based on "SERPENS ALBUS", but this "THE LAST HURRAH TOUR" is a disbandment tour, so the theme is "a summary of history". From the opening, starting with "Walking In The Shadow Of The Blues", the classic Snake masterpieces such as "Hit & Run Intro/Ready An' Willing", "Lovehunter", and "Don't Break My Heart Again" are scattered, and even DEEP PURPLE such as "Mistreated" and "Soldier Of Fortune", and new songs only for this tour such as "Too Many Tears" and "Restless Heart" are selected widely. More than such a selection, it is the performance and arrangement that gives off a feeling of "only here". With Adrian Vandenberg as the bandmaster, the arrangements are not metal, but extremely authentic. At the time, it was said that "the early White Snake has been revived," but there is no dirtiness of blues maniacs Bernie Marsden and Mickey Moody, and it is somehow chic and stylish. The band is made up of craftsmen who travel the industry with their musical sense, and unlike the heavy metal era, it is gorgeous in a sense, and has a "celebrity rock that also wears a sophisticated taste." In music magazines at the time, writers were debating in the magazines, saying "White Snake has become AOR" and "It's completely different," but even if they don't go as far as to call it "AOR," I can understand the desire to say that... You can enjoy that sense of balance in the official, superb video. After this tour, Coverdale once went into solo activities, but the tour plans did not go well, and he revived the "heavy metal White Snake" in a few years. After all, there is no "solo singer tour" in his career, but what was the show like there? The closest thing to that illusion is definitely "THE LAST HURRAH TOUR". And this is the highest quality pro shot. It is a superb pro shot that is particularly rare and has a particularly heavy meaning in his career. Please enjoy plenty of superb pro shots that are the closest to "solo singer: David Coverdale" along with the beautiful voice video "STARKERS IN TOKYO".
