Michael and UFO parted ways during the 1995 tour, but Michael returned to UFO in the fall of 1997 after M.S.G. activities had settled down, and they resumed touring Europe from November to early February 1998. After that, starting with the Newport performance on February 6th, a total of 13 performances were held in the UK over the course of about a month, appealing to fans around the world that UFO was still alive and well. This work records the live performance on the 21st, the first day of the two consecutive days of the "Astoria Theater" performances at the end of the UK tour, with the best audience shots. The angle and camera work are designed to capture a full view of the stage from the second floor seats. The way the live performance was captured firmly without worrying about the surroundings, and the footage of the band's movements such as Michael's guitar solo and the actions of each member being well-versed and zooming in on key points makes you wonder if the photographer was related to the band or a staff member. Although the master is an analog videotape, the image quality is clear enough for a material from over 13 years ago, and you can clearly see not only the contours of the people but also their expressions. At this time, there are plenty of highlights that can only be seen in video, such as the "black" Michael, who for some reason has his black hair slicked back, a black coat and sunglasses, and Pete Way, who looks like a rock star and goes shirtless in the second half and does flashy actions. Of course, the sound quality that allows you to check the songs in detail is of the highest level of quality, so you can enjoy the UFO live show in the late '90s in the best way possible (to be honest, I even think that there are some parts that surpass "FLIGHT RECORDER", which is supposed to be the main title of this time). The set list is the same as the Japan tour included in "FLIGHT RECORDER", and skillfully arranges new songs from "WALK ON WATER" in the classic UFO songs of the past. The intro creates a perfect mood with countless spotlights mysteriously illuminating the venue shrouded in darkness, and the opening of "Natural Thing", where the stage is lit up like a fire, is very impressive. With their live tour in their home country coming to an end, the band is performing a stable performance with a sense of unity. Pete Way is very energetic throughout the show, running freely around the stage in songs such as "Mother Mary" and "A Self Made Man", and frequently interacting with Michael to create the highlights of the show. Phil, who sings his characteristic deep songs in "Venus" and "Love To Love", performs with dignity throughout the show, and his presence exudes a unique sense of grandeur. The contrast between the frontman, the dynamic Pete, and the eccentric Michael on stage is also interesting. The climax scene, which flows from "Too Hot To Handle" to "Doctor Doctor" and "Rock Bottom", will excite everyone, as if they were experiencing a modern version of "STRANGER IN THE NIGHT" on video! The 86-minute show, which includes original menus not found in previously released material and has even better image quality, will thoroughly entertain fans with the essence of a UFO live show. This video will thoroughly depict before fans' eyes even the parts that could not be seen on the sound source "FLIGHT RECORDER".
