This video is a surprising high-quality audience shot of the farewell tour, which coincides with the main part in terms of timing, and the performance in Oakland, California on October 25th. It was suddenly uploaded to the Internet and was completely unreleased until now. And it's the first generation! It was produced and supervised by the famous JEMS, and was shot with a Panasonic VHS video camera at the time, and the audio was recorded simultaneously with a Nakamichi microphone and a Sony metal cassette recorder, and later edited to perfectly synchronize the two, while also performing subtle pitch correction with Pro Tools. Although it is an audience shot, it is recorded with image quality and sound that conveys the whole picture of the stage as if to tell the excellence of Japanese-made equipment. What is unfortunate is that the two songs from the opening, My Generation and I Can't Explain, are not recorded, and Who Are You? is a cut-in recording. It has been commented that the first two songs were not recorded because the customers in the front were an obstacle. Although it is a flaw that makes it easy to imagine the difficulties involved in filming, the rest of the footage was shot in a trouble-free environment. The angle was from a 45-degree angle to the left of the second floor stand, facing the stage, and there are not many close-up shots of the members even in the close-up images, but the footage capturing the entire stage from start to finish is worth a look as it conveys the whole picture of the day. The Who's fanzine 'Who's News' touted this day as "the best of the 40 performances of this tour currently uploaded online," and it was commented that the performance at the open-air concert at the Coliseum adjacent to the venue two days earlier was not so great (Roger was tired, perhaps, and sang while sitting on the drum stand during See Me Feel Me), but on this day, they showed a completely different stage. In the video, Pete, who had stopped "guitar smashing" at this time, slammed his guitar into the amp in the middle of Won't Get Fooled Again (it was not very showy, and he immediately continued playing with a replacement guitar). In addition, they played the extremely rare Tattoo at this time. With all this content, it can be said that this video is something that fans of The Who cannot miss.
