The definitive version of the Paul Winners Concert, held by the New Musical Express magazine, has been released! This is the last big thing of the year. After all, the quality is different from the already released version. This is a luxurious project in which the top winning bands gather together to perform a concert in a popular vote held by the music magazine "New Musical Express" every spring, and this work contains footage from 1964, 1965, and 1966. Although the set list is short, it is a very interesting event stage, unlike that of a normal tour. This work is a title that compiles this concert with sound and video. First, 1964. At the Paul Winners Concert held at Wembley on April 26th, the Beatles performed five songs. The focus is on the film version. If you have an already released version, please check it out, but the previous ones had time codes and logos in the lower right corner, so there was no complete video. However, the low-generation master of this work is the first to appear as a completely clean film image! This alone makes this work worth it. I'm sure this is what fans have been waiting for. Also, since it was converted from PAL to NTSC by professional equipment, the image is more stable than the previous version, which is a major feature. In addition, two video versions of the same performance are included. You can enjoy this with stable high image quality. It's funny to see Ringo, who always seems to be lazy, shaking his hair and performing enthusiastically. The three people at the front are performing with momentum, and the way they sing as if they are biting into the low microphone stand is probably because they recognized that this concert was an honor. It's a wonderful performance just like the jacket photo. The 1965 video is also amazing. Most of the previously released versions had a drop-out at the beginning of "She's A Woman," but the one included in this work has no such defect. This is not because the video was corrected, but due to the characteristics of the master, and this also shows the youth of the generation of the master used in this work. The concert begins with the first song "I Feel Fine" by the Beatles, dressed in the same military fashion as Share Stadium. Perhaps because of the other performers, they gave a wonderful performance. In particular, there is no other live take where Paul sings with such enthusiasm in "I Feel Fine". In the awards ceremony scene, we can also see Tony Bennett, who would release a duet with Paul 40 years later. Three additional songs are included, which are broadcast versions of this concert. The broadcast version of "Long Tall Sally" is also included in its entirety, which is a cute point. In the anthology, this 1965 NME concert was only recorded in one song, and the interview overlapped, so it was an incomplete recording, but in this work you can see it in its complete form! Unfortunately, due to contract, the live scene was not filmed in 1966, and only the awards ceremony scene is recorded here. This time, the three songs recorded on the American TV program "Shindig!" on October 3, 1964 are also included. "Kansas City ? Hey Hey Hey Hey" before it was recorded is the only live video of the song that remains, so it is extremely valuable. This is also proven by the fact that this one song was included in the anthology. Whereas the anthology recording had images collaged at the beginning and processed into the original recording, here all the songs played on the program are recorded in their original form, and above all with a much higher image quality than ever before. The positions of the members are also unique and different from the usual stage. As an aside, it is a famous story that the writer Katsuhiko Takahashi was at this venue and saw the Beatles. It is surprising that there were Japanese people here at this time. This title contains three years' worth of NME Paul Winners Concerts. Not only is the image quality stable, but it is also the first version without time code, and it is a decisive board that uses the low-generation master that returns all previously released versions to nothing, and it is a CD + DVD set of NME concerts by M Claudel label, which was a hot topic among enthusiasts both in Japan and abroad even before its release.
