Although it is mono, it has a stable sound image, each part is clear, and the vocals are recorded in a very balanced manner. The balance of low and high frequencies has been adjusted, and the missing and silent parts in the middle of "Friction" that were several seconds in length have been carefully corrected, and the interruption, silent parts and overlapping parts in the middle of "Marquee Moon" have been carefully corrected, so that it can be listened to without any discomfort. This was the first of a three-day gig at CBGB. Only a few songs from the other days were available on the label's previously released "UFO," a compilation of CBGB recordings from January 1975, but this release includes the entire gig from the 17th.
