A rare live performance at Maxxis Kansas City in October 1975 after Fred Smith joined the band has been recorded in good monaural audience recording. This rare live performance was held at Maxxis Kansas City, New York, on October 27, 1975, about half a year after Richard Hell left the band in April 1975 and Fred Smith joined in place of Hell. This rare live performance was recorded in good monaural audience recording at Maxxis Kansas City, New York, on October 27, 1975. This rare live performance was recorded in good monaural audience recording and remastered as the latest brushed-up version! Although it is mono, it has a stable sound image, each part is clear, and the vocals are recorded in a very balanced manner. There is some tape twisting due to deterioration of the master tape from the ending of "Marquee Moon" to "Breakin' In My Heart", but there are no other problems. In addition, the part where the volume of only the beginning is extremely loud, which is thought to be due to the automatic compressor function of the cassette recorder, has been carefully corrected, remastered, and brushed up. This was the first day of a two-day gig at Maxis, and the opening number, a cover of 13th Floor Elevators' "Fire Engine," shows how well the band was doing that day, and Billy Ficca's amazing drumming on "Friction" gives you goosebumps! You can also listen to an early version of "Judy," which they didn't play live very often, and the unreleased "Hard On Love," with a faster tempo, as well as "Foxhole," which was included on their second album, "ADVENTURE," released in 1978. You can enjoy this rare performance from the time shortly after Fred Smith joined the band for a full 79 minutes!
