While there are many things that give the impression that they are quite finished, such as Hazard Profile from before Holdsworth joined, the point of this performance is that you can listen to songs such as Floating World that are still incomplete. What is especially noteworthy is the extraordinary ensemble performance, and the many technical plays in the last jam that could not be heard in the previous performance on the 13th. I was astounded by the incredible rhythm combinations of Roy and John's rhythm team. (Roy's transcendental play using a 6-string bass is a must-listen.) Truly Canterbury's pinnacle soft machine.
