From the "LIVE YOUR LIGHT TOUR: SOUTH AMERICA 2009" tour, the live performance held on March 24th at Telmex Auditorium in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, was recorded in full for about 2 hours and 50 minutes with official level ultra-high quality stereo soundboard recording. A must-have for fans, using the original DAT master obtained directly from the related parties through unique routes. Not only is the performance wonderful, but you can enjoy the whole picture of the show with a top-class line recording that is rarely heard even on official boards. In 2009, Santana toured South America from the end of February to Chile (famous for the television broadcast of Viña del Mar at this time), Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Ecuador, and Guatemala. To conclude this tour, Santana performed five live shows in Mexico from March 19th to 26th, and this performance is the fourth performance of the Mexican tour. The Telmex Auditorium is the largest indoor venue in Guadalajara, with a capacity of 10,000 people, and Santana also performed there in July 2012. From the 2009 South American tour, the Chilean performance on February 25th was broadcast locally on television, although it was incompletely recorded, and is familiar to fans, but the line recording of the Mexican performance on March 24th is very valuable because it has not been circulated among traders at all. Moreover, there is no sound source that captures the recent show with a perfect sound board of this length, and it will surely be a must-have for fans around the world. The members are almost the same as those on the Japan tour in March 2013, but until this time, the keyboard is Chester Thompson, who played the keyboard from 1983 to this 2009 South American tour. The awesomeness of the rhythm section of drummer Dennis Chambers and bassist Benny Rietveld that can be heard in this sound is exceptional. If you listen to it for a test, I think everyone will agree, but anyway, it's worth getting this board just to listen to the bass solo and drum solo parts at the end of disc 2. Anyway, the sound is so good that I've never heard it before, so the impression of poor broadcast sound sources is blurred. It's surprisingly rare to have a live album where you can hear the amazingness of the finest line recording in the highest quality. (Official quality sound, but still, this leaked rawness is a bootleg.) If you connect it directly to the table, you can't get the reaction of the audience, so it ends up feeling cool somehow, but this master has just the right balance and you can hear the cheers between songs, so it's also a great sound balance. Since it's rare to have such excellent performance and sound, I would like Western music collectors who consider themselves sound source collectors to listen to it. Of course, Santana's play, which is drawn freely, is recorded with the highest level of sound that you can rarely hear. In every sense, we guarantee the highest quality content. This ultra-high quality sound source, using the original master directly, is released as a 3-disc set.
