A big decision board that directly uses the DAT master brought by the related parties is here! This work is a soundboard sound source of "Maryland performance on September 27, 1984" from "GRACE UNDER PRESSURE TOUR 1984", which is also memorable for its only performance in Japan. It is also a glaringly clear table-direct album. From this tour, the Toronto performance on September 21 is the official video "GRACE UNDER PRESSURE TOUR", but this work is a live performance six days later. The soundboard sound source of this day first appeared in 1999's "TIP OF ICEBERG". It was a CDR release limited to 20 copies, but at that time there were few RUSH soundboards themselves, and the shock of hitting the head of collectors ran. After that, later releases such as "BATTLE OF BOOZE" and "COOL UNDER FIRE" appeared. The missing "Red Sector A" was added, and each one was upgraded, such as using the master of the young Gene. Although it is a recording with such a history, this work was leaked from the person involved who would have recorded it. Moreover, it was made into a CD directly from the actual DAT master. The image on the right is the DAT master. There would have been no direct recording from "table to DAT" in 1984, but it is not difficult to imagine that it would have been made into a DAT directly from the original cassette owned only by the person himself, and a generation that "cannot be better" was unearthed! In fact, the sound is amazingly wonderful. The ultimate direct feeling that the musical sounds of the three people are poured directly into the brain. The synth sound panning left and right and even the grain of sound are felt, and even the ultra-fine nuances are completely recorded. It would be disrespectful to the sound source to say "official level", but it is much more vivid than the official dubbing at the production stage. Moreover, since it is DAT direct, "Red Sector A", which was sometimes cut in the previous release, is also included, and there is no distortion due to tape deterioration. Since it is a recording of only the main set before the encore, it is not a complete concert, but you can also listen to "Subdivisions", "The Body Electric", "Between the Wheels", "Red Barchetta", and "Kid Gloves", which are not included in the official work "GRACE UNDER PRESSURE TOUR". In "The Weapon", there was a gritty noise that seemed to be caused by the recording, but that point was carefully removed by remastering. Of course, since it is directly connected to the table, the reaction of the venue can only be heard faintly from afar, but it is unreasonable to expect such a sense of realism and on-site feeling from this work. In the first place, a live album has two aspects: "simulated experience of a concert" and "appreciation of live performance", and if you are looking for a "simulated experience", there is nothing better than an audience recording. However, on the other hand, if you pursue "appreciation of live performance", a direct-to-table soundboard is the best. This work is one of the "direct-to-table albums" that has reached the pinnacle of the highest generation. "Live performance RUSH", which can be heard with such an ultimate sound, is extremely powerful. To repeat, this day was six days after the official "GRACE UNDER PRESSURE TOUR". Although RUSH always plays the best performances, the spirit and mastery that can be left in the work is also transmitted from this work. After the Largo performance, this work also contains eight songs of the soundboard sound source of "St. Louis performance on November 7, 1991". At first glance, it seems to be a bonus track, but it is not. The last "The Spirit Of Radio" is also a rough edit that ends only at the beginning, but it was recorded like this on the original DAT cassette. It was faithfully reproduced. In the first place, this St. Louis performance was released as a full-sized superb soundboard "ROW THE BOATS (Cygnus 003/004)", so there is no point in adding only eight songs now. However, here is filled with the "sense of the people involved" of making your favorite tape with the best soundboard, and the "private sense" of giving it to a friend. Even if it is almost meaningless in terms of pure music and pure records, the love of music is what connects people and spreads the breath of life. Yes, the CD is in your hands because of the unbroken connection of the feelings of "RUSH is amazing" and "This is the best, so listen to it." These tracks remind us of that. The greatest appeal of this work is that you can enjoy the "live performance RUSH" in super-fine detail with the superb direct-to-table sound that only those involved can hear. There is no better sound than this. How wonderful is this alone? On top of that, the people involved themselves also convey "RUSH is amazing!", and you can feel the spectacle of music connecting people. This is a collection that can only be felt in the underground, and only in this DAT master work. I've written a lot, but there is only one thing I want to say.
